Birthday, Anniversary etc. Do you keep old cards from your parents/spouse etc? If yes, what do you do with them? I have found a few as I am throwing crap out and organizing today. Or do you just read them and throw away!
They are in big clums in several large plastic totes....don't know if I want to throw them away or keep them. I do have our wedding cards in a special box right next to our wedding scrapbook/whatever that is.
I keep all cards from my H and some special ones from parents. The rest I toss. Wedding cards are sitting in a box along with the guestbook and extra invitations, etc.
I have kept all my wedding ones and did a project with them. The regular ones that have no meaning get thrown out. Maybe I should buy a Tupperware box or find something that is laying around the place and put all the ones that are border line toss vs. keep put in there for the time being.
I almost pitched a whole basket of cards like that while packing the other night. I didn't though because I thumbed through them really quick and I found a My last birthday card from my great grandma. From like 1994.
nope, they get tossed. I prefer not to receive cards because I don't see the point. I only send cards to others (like for birthdays) because I know it's expected.
I'm a packrat.. haha. I've finally started throwing away birthday ones that weren't as "special", as in they didn't have a special message or anything. We have all our wedding cards in a box. I usually save Christmas cards too. I don't know why, I just don't feel right throwing them away, haha.
