Use OPI's BondAid as the base coat!

Nail polish generally only lasts on me 48 hours. A gel manicure only lasts 4 days. I got a manicure last Tuesday afternoon more for the cuticles and shaping than color, since polish never stays on me, but MY POLISH IS STILL ON! I told the manicurist my problem and she said, "just for kicks, let's try this, it can't hurt." It's normally used as a base coat for gels and tips, but it can be used on bare nails as well. So excited about this find!

Edit - I just grabbed the first link I found and it looks like that's really expensive, other sites have it for less, so shop around.

I have 19 nails that hold polish like a champ, but one that has not worked with any base, top, or polish. It's seriously making me mad. I may have to try this.

Interesting. I have the same problem (well, I haven't tried gel)...I'll have to give this a try.

I was on the understanding that this is something you would use before a base coat not as a base coat replacement. But whatever works for the user is fine by me! I would just worry about staining.

Things like this are useful in striping oils on your nail bed so that you are getting a really clean surface for polish.
