Love the gif! That's one of my favorite parts of that movie.
I have to coach a swim meet tonight that will go late and then tomorrow I think I'm supposed to go wedding dress shopping with my future SIL and her mom and my mom. Tomorrow night we are having dinner with my friend and her BF after watching the Pats game together.
Sunday we have no real plans. I will likely work on my capstone project and clean the house.
My car is in the shop getting checked out so we may be down to one car this weekend. I'm meeting co-workers for drinks tonight after work to commiserate/celebrate the new year and return of students. Tomorrow I have a hair appt and I'm pretty excited. I'm getting my color re-done as it's been way too long. I had had plans to go up to ME to meet up with a friend but with the car situation I don't know if that will still happen. Sunday is planned as low key. I should probably clean house. Probably.

We have friends coming over tomorrow. And a birthday party (kids) on Sunday. We might try to meet up with other friends too on Sunday. Kidtastic weekend as usual.
3. I went to Assembly Row for the first time over the holidays (went to Legal's for my mom's bday). It's soooooo different from the dingy mall of my youth.
We went to the movies over there a couple of months ago, and my husband (who had lived in that area for a few years) was amazed at how nice it is. Hopefully it lasts. It's definitely an improvement, even though there was something to be said for thinking you were going to get stabbed at any second at Good Times.
We have no real plans for this weekend. My husband will either be delighted after the Pats game tomorrow or in a funk the rest of the weekend. I plan to read a lot and watch a lot of tv. And I guess pick up some groceries at some point. Our dog will be delighted that I am back home and we can reinstate our vacation routine. (I had 2 full weeks off, and he got very used to laying curled up on the couch with me. I came back to work yesterday, and my husband said he was moping around giving sad eyes all day. Though he kind of does that anyway, heh.)
Glad the weather is nice in London! Man, I think if our winters were a bit milder I'd be so much happier. We got like an inch of snow this morning, just during my commute and it made the roads horrible. Took me twice as long to get in today. Sigh. It has been a quiet winter so far (knock on wood!), I hope it stays that way.
We have a few plans this weekend which is nice! Tomorrow we're going to see Into the Woods. I'm so excited that the movie theater has assigned seating (and recliners!) now. We gotta get a few date nights in before baby arrives.
Sunday I'm meeting my sister near Worcester for the day, good central place for us to meet up. We'll just have lunch, do some shopping and then maybe dinner too. It will be really fun to catch up with her!
This week has been neat as I finally felt the baby for the first time! It feels so funny, it kind of tickles. Makes me laugh and I love it!

noodleoo, how exciting! How far along are you now? I keep waiting to feel the baby or for my belly to pop (and not from Christmas sweets), because without all of the nausea I had in first tri, I could almost forget I'm pregnant sometimes. ... almost.
Iris and I flew to CA this morning bright and early! After mainlining coffee this afternoon, I am now prepping for a large baby shower at my parents house tomorrow morning. I may fall asleep in my mimosa.

22 weeks today! The time is flying by! I wasn't sure it was her at first, but it got stronger and I can definitely feel her! H can't yet though.

noodleoo, that's awesome. I'm due June 22, so almost 17 weeks. We have our ultrasound on the 19th, which I am really excited about since we haven't seen the baby yet. (My husband thinks it's anticlimactic, since we already know we're having a boy. I bet him 5 bucks that he cries, heh.)
Just wanted to add in my two cents about assembly row--it's great, and I love having a nice movie theater so close, but has anyone else noticed how incredibly slow the bar service is at the theater? I'm not complaining--it's fabulous to have a bar at the theater in the first place, but MAN, it's really fucking slow every time we've gone. Like, they are trying to be slow. Do you guys know what they are building next to it, in the southwest corner by the train tracks? Is it more outlet stuff? It seems to be a giant area.

Oh the ultrasounds are so much fun! My H loved it (and I think he teared up!). I think it made it real for him. I think he feels a bit detached from the pregnancy as a guy and so when he could see her moving and realize she's really in there, he gets all emotional. It is cute.
