Yesterday I was making dinner while DS1 ate a snack at the breakfast bar. He started banging his fork on the counter. When I reminded him not to, he announces "I make music! Lalalala! Mama make music?" So I got out a fork and we banged on the counter together.

When I get home from work DD immediately wants to be picked up and she has started rubbing her cheek against my cheek. I think it's because my face is cold and she finds it fascinating, but it makes me melt!!

DD is trying really hard to learn the words to Let it Go. She gets all earnest and twirls around singing along, but she messes up a lot of the words - despite how absolutely sick of the song I am, I can't stop laughing when she says stuff like "the fear that once trophy" instead of "the fear that once controlled me..." I don't know why I find it so funny when kids mess up words, but it's just so adorable.
Apologies to those of you who now have that song stuck in your head again.

DS is starting to get into singing songs too. Right now Jingle Bells sounds like "jingnu bells, jingnu bells, jingnu...WAY!" Hard to type, but it's really cute.

DS says "jah-jah bells, jah-jah bells, wingle all day!"

DD's preschool is doing a unit on communication. She told me "Mrs. W showed us this old thing you use for communicating. I think it's called a stone tablet?"
Per her teacher's email about what they're learning, she showed them a typewriter.
At night when I am tucking DS1 into bed, DS2 always crawls into bed with DS1, puts his head on the pillow and gives DS1 a kiss then says "goodnight". It's really cute. DS1 keeps begging for DS2 to sleep in his room. I might let them share a room once DS2 is out of the crib.
I was scrolling through the dvr last night and my H recorded "Frozen". I called him out on it and he said it's for family movie night with me and dd. (heart melt) She doesn't watch tv yet but whatever. I know the truth is that he really wants to see it. We've all been singing "Do you want to build a Snowman" out of one of dd's books and he's into it. The other week, he asked me to summarize the storyline for him. lol
DS is sick. I was telling DD this morning that I was going to take him to the doctor while she was in school, and she said "Oh good. It just breaks my heart to see him sick."
J has "cute aggression" towards the girls. He will go up to them and squeeze them and just loves on them but he makes this face like he wants to squeeze them really hard but knows he has to be gentle. It cracks me up.
N has been kissing me on the mouth like crazy. It would be cute but for the stomach bug he's had the past few days. I've tried offering him my chin, but he just reaches up and grabs my nose to pull my face down so he can kiss my mouth. I still love it.
