The reason I agreed to move to what I consider to be "the country". (You have to pass some land with cows and then another farm thing with like 50 mini goats to get to our neighborhood).
Hold all of my things, plus H's things. Amazing.
Standing in the closet:
Shoe land down at the bottom.
All I need to do is unpack my winter sweaters, stick them up at the top and I'm done.
Have not unpacked any of the kitchen yet, but I was so excited to have this closet that I couldn't help myself!
I call it "my room". My H was calling me to see if I could come hold something up for him and I'm like "I'm in my room - hold on!".
His reply was "Huh? I'm in our room...I don't see you". I walked out of the closet, and I'm like no..."MY Room". haha!
2nd best closet of my entire life. #1 was randomly in an apartment. H and I each had about the same space we do now, but they were in two separate closets. I loved having it split.
Lol; I feel like this should be in a movie with there's the spot light and the "ahhhhhh" music sound effects. Congrats! (PS- I totally thought this was going to be a sonogram with news that Baby K is a girl!)
I'm so jealous!! She's beautiful!! I'm so excited for you- once this move is over I know you're going to be so happy.
And on a different note, I plan to come visit you when the Target/Neimans collection launches. You claim your middle of nowhere Target is fully stocked and I am one very determined shopper ;D

I would FREAK if the baby turned out to be a girl at this point! Luckily it's been confirmed many, many times since I'm up to my 7th ultrasound.
Joanis - of course you can visit!! Do you know how to change a diaper, b/c I don't! ha!
Can't remember who asked, but we currently live in Knoxville, TN. H is military so we move a lot. I'll have to give up this closet in a year, but hopefully we'll move close to my parents next to make it worth it. There are SO many Targets here. A brand new one just opened by my old house (boo!), but now the closest in 20 min from me. Within a 30 minute radius there are 7 that I can think of off the top of my head. Probably more like 10 though and other than the downtown area no one seems into clothes/fashion at all. I go to the more "country" ones when the collections come out. I think some of them even still have some Jason Wu stuff left.
Anyway, Knoxville itself is really suburban, but the outlying areas are very mountain/farm. I much prefer the location we were in, but this was the best house we could find on short notice. All you pass to get there is the two farms, a gas station, about 6 churches and a drive though liquor store.

Nice closet! I knew you were having a boy, but like adlove and HZ, I was confused too. We live in the middle of nowhere and couldn't find good closets anywhere. I miss my closet. My wardrobe is spread into every closet in our house.
Joanis - of course you can visit!! Do you know how to change a diaper, b/c I don't! ha!
hahah I am a former nanny, you know?
You used to be a nanny, you make great deserts, and you want to go to the Target/Neiman shop? It's almost too good to be true! If you throw in bringing your dog along I'll even buy your ticket!
I was born in Knoxville and definitely the country part of it. Our driveway was about a mile long! We moved away when I was 5, and I lost my TN accent.
Your closet is awesome, I love when you can close the door and surround yourself with clothes!
