I am going to buy these chairs. I was thinking of getting 1 of each of 4 different colors (blue, grey, yellow, light green), but now I am wondering if it is better to get 4 of the same. I would probably get the blue. Thoughts?
What style is the room? I had dinner at a friend's house last week and their house is super modern. They have chairs like that, but have 4 white, 2 green. The green are at the ends of the table and the white are along the sides. It really worked because their whole first floor, which is wide open and has tons of windows is dark brown (wood floors) white, green, and a greige in the walls.
I think four different colors would be fun, especially if the rest of the space is pretty minimal. Alternatively, I like the idea of 3 of the same and one accent.
We have chairs very similar to this, we have grey/blue walls, a dark wood table and white chairs.
Can you PIP or link to the table they'll be going with? Based on the pics you showed of your new place I think a pop of color would look great. You could also do two of one color on one side and two of another color on the other side.
If I remember correctly your living/dining area is very open and minimal (concrete, windows, etc). I think four colors would be fun. If you're worried about it being too much, you could always go with two colors. Just make sure you get some accents around the rooms that match the chairs.
I'm not very helpful because I don't have modern style - although I always love what other people do with it. I like the idea of one bold color (yellow or orange) since your place is so neutral (undecorated, of course) Also, it could just be my computer screen, but the yellow looks really bright, whereas the blue green and green are much paler. It's like they come from a different "intensity palette" if that makes sense. I'm not sure that they work together.
When I was sick, I watched the entirety of HGTV's Design Star, and one of the contestants there did mix and match kitchen chairs, and got chastised for using 2+2 rather than 4 different ones.

I love those chairs! If you go with 4 chairs of a different color, I would own it and do blue, green, yellow, and orange (not gray) or go with 4 in orange. I think the orange would play off the beams in your ceiling nicely.
I love Room & Board. I like that table. The idea of a bright color for the chairs is great. I am not too fond of the same chair in different colors. It would be different, however, if they were totally different chairs.
