There seems to be waning interest in FOTD, so what do you think about doing one thread per week that we post to whatever day we want to participate in that week?
Below is my FOTD. Do you girls think I could pull off red hair? Not subtle red, but rich, Emma Stone red? I would go to a salon to get it done to be sure to get a red that is flattering on me. I've always been unhappy when my hair is red, but I also have always done it at home with a box color.
Face: Clinique BB, Dermablend finishing powder, Too Faced Pink Leopard bronzer, Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Dollface, Mac MSF in Soft & Gentle
Eyes: Maybelline Age Rewind concealer, shadows are all from TheBalm Nude Tude palette, Sephora liquid liner in Glitter Taupe on top lash line, NYX Slide On liner in Esmeralda on lower lashes, Maybelline The Falsies mascara.
Lips: Stila lip glaze - I can't remember which color I put on.
The Balm is a nice makeup brand, but for some reason they don't carry it in store at Ulta or Sephora. The Nude Tude palette is AWESOME. I kept going back and forth on the Naked palettes, but when I learned of the Nude Tude palette I LOVED it and got it instead of Naked. Temptalia has a good review here: www.temptalia.com/thebalm-nude-tude-eyeshadow-palette-review-photos-swatches
In this look I used Sassy, Standoffish, and Sophisticated.
I would love to be a redhead but don't want it to be a big regret
GoDawgs, the red could look great if it's the exact right shade. Honestly red scares me, it can be hard to maintain, a perfect shade will probably fade quickly and it's also difficult to get out of your hair for some. My hair won't let it go but my best friends hair won't hang onto it at all. If you know how your hair handles red it might be easier to decide. It's just disheartening to get a gorgeous shade in the salon only to fade to a not so perfect red in a few weeks.
FWIW, I LOVED your idea and pics of the chestnut brown and with some red peek a boo highlights, I think it would look amazing.
All that being said, you only live once and going full on red would be super fun!!! If you're not too worried about maintenance, go for it!! You can always change it
Face: Sonia Kashuk TM, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Cheeks: Stila Convertible color cheek stain in Peony Eyes: UD Verve on lid, Tease in crease, Revlon liquid eye pen liner Lips: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable stain balm in Lovesick.
I haven't been wearing make up lately because I'm waiting for my skin to clear up. But GoDawgs, I love the green!! And I really want some pink lipstick/gloss.
I'm loving everyone's eye makeup...I need to step up my eye makeup game. I hardly ever wear it bc either I can't get it all off or the mascara irritates my contacts.

This is my first FOTD, be nice
Face: Makeup Forever HD foundation, and MUFE Concealer Eyes: All UD shadows, Kinky on the lid, Tease in the Crease, and Barlust on the lashline, and Loreal Voluminous mascara Lips: MUFE #36 (I think) I'm not usually a lipstick wearer so this is a big step for me.

That lip color is great! I used to be really intimidated by lipstick in the beginning, and only wore very neutral colors because I felt clownish. But now I love bold colors!
