Ladies, I need some help. After three years in Germany, my family is returning home. We are moving to NoVA. And we need cell phones and service. DH found that prices for what we would like (iPhones and unlimited data), the best option is T-Mobile.
What are your experiences and opinions about T-Mobile's coverage and service?
In the past, we have had AT&T and Verizon with no real complaints, but for a similar price, with T-Mobile, we can iPhones with more memory than with the other providers.
Thanks for your assistance!
And, if anybody knows of a good a German restaurant in the Metro area, I'm taking notes.
We have Verizon. If you're able to, make sure you get the federal gov't employee discount (15% for Verizon). You just have to be able to confirm that you have a .gov email. A military ID might get you the same discount.
I know these would be a drive for you, but the Schmankerl Stube in Hagerstown, MD is excellent.
We have t-mobile and the only problem is there is a dead spot in one room in our house. We previously had AT&T and their coverage was horrible at my work, so for me it was just about choosing the cheaper of two evils.

I won't comment on cell providers since I haven't lived there for 8 years, but for German food, you must check out German gourmet in falls church. It's not really a restaurant (they do sausages to go) but a butcher and deli/grocer.

I appreciate your responses. I was afraid that T-Mobile was not going to really compete with Verizon or AT&T. I'd rather have less memory and better coverage. Hopefully DH will agree or be convinced.
Did you consider Virgin Mobile? I used to use them, they had I phones at the time and the least expensive monthly service, though your phone purchase is not subsidized.
They run on the Sprint network, which I had in NoVA and NW DC, both great coverage.
