I have no idea if regular lube really is but I got superstitious and bought preseed when we weren't getting pregnant after several cycles with regular. Got pregnant first cycle we used preseed.
OPK's. I have been using them when I think I am ovulating based on when we conceived DD and CM. I haven't got a dark line yet. Do you always get a dark line on the OPK when you are ovulating?
I know when we conceived DD (cd 10) the OPK test line was obvious...this time I am having a hard time pinpointing when I ovulate. I am on different medication (blood pressure) then when we conceived DD...maybe that is why. I don't know....
Obviously I'm not ttc, but we always used preseed. Not the amount they suggest in the applicator but as regular lube. That said, pugz are you taking clomid? I cant remember what your protocol is. But Clomid can dry up your cervical fluid so you may want to use preseed and use some in the applicator if you are.

I think my ovulation date changed between pregnancies. You may be missing the date. Also, I didn't ovulate until three days after my first positive opk. Charting temps was the only thing that really told me anything.

I happily spent the extra money on Clearblue OPKs. I was tired of trying to interpret the stupid lines, and enjoying seeing that happy smiling face when I was ovulating. I didn't use them every day, too pricey for that. I started using them when EWCM showed up, and used them until ovulation was finished. So maybe 7 days a month. So a box of 30 tests lasted me ~4 months, seemed plenty reasonable for $30. And no more squinting at lines!
Can't remember if I updated here or not, but after my 3 early losses, I went to see my doc last week. He took a lot of blood for tests, and all came back normal. He put me on extra folic acid, a baby aspirin, and then progesterone to start taking after a positive test. After the last loss, I wanted to wait a little before trying again, but now with these meds in place, I think I want to start right away!

Yeah I did temp chart with DD, I guess I need to get back to that :-)
I think we already missed this month as I am CD14...

I have a couple of friends for whom baby aspirin and progesterone did the trick. Good luck!

I'm on CD22 but have no idea when I ovulated. I'm hoping we had good timing and I ovulated before H left on his work trip, but I guess we will see in another week or so. And yes, I think you are supposed to use preseed. Can someone remind me of all of the other things we could/should do? Mucinex around O, Pom juice before? Pineapple core when? HALP.

I will never be charting again, but I did it for over a year and really got into it.
I kind of like reading these threads. H and I used to play the game on the fertility friend website where you had to guess when someone ovulated. So fun, even though he was better than me at it.
I'm on CD 15 and my OPK was - this morning. I didn't O until CD 18 when I got my BFP w/ N, so I'm still holding out hope that this cycle will be "normal" (last couple of cycles were 56 days, 20 days, 15 days, and 73 days).
I am charting too, and of course the last two mornings I've been moving around a bit before I could temp. Ugh. They are only a little bit higher than normal, though
There was a faint line, but I think I remember hearing that they are never truly negative like a HPT, right?

I hope everything helps! I credit the extra folic acid (well, extra folinic acid since I have a clotting disorder that makes me more prone to losses, discovered about 6 months before my BFP and I can't break down folic acid) and baby aspirin (taken every day starting the day of my BFP until 36 weeks) with helping me sustain my pregnancy. I did not need progesterone.

Oh, and I am not TTC but have a nagging suspicion that if I test today, I might see a BFP (I think I O'ed around 1/1). I've been feeling off but that could just be my paranoia, although my current nosebleeds aren't helping with my paranoia (it happened often during my pregnancy but not before my BFP though, IIRC). I won't test until Thursday at the earliest - testing tomorrow is out of the question because I don't need to see a BFP the day of my most important job interview to date.
My period should be due by Sunday so I could just avoid testing at all until Sunday if it doesn't show up. I think I might do that because I'm afraid of what I'll see. They key is not stocking any pregnancy tests in the house until then.
I'm not temping at this point in an effort to keep things relaxed. We do not have sex nearly as frequently as when we TTC#1, so I can't really complain that I'm not pregnant at this point. MOAR SEX.
My first cycle after BC was 35 days, so I was pleasantly surprised this month to have a regular 28 day cycle. Will make a conscious effort for sex around CD 14, hoping I have a similar cycle. Might look into OPKs in a few months if we're still here.
Although part of me wants to sit out this month because my due date would be close to DS's birthday.... but the other part of me knows that every month has it's own pluses/minuses.
CD2 here and we're about to start round 2 of IVF. Last time IVF was converted to IUI due to ZERO response to the meds but BFN (obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be posting on a TTC thread!) ;-)
I'm terrified of being put under for the egg retrieval but other than that, i'm just doing what I gotta do.
Feel free to join me and @starry with your ttc thoughts and questions. We are both on CD 8.
My question: is regular lube still considered a sperm killer? Do I need to go buy a $20 bottle of preseed?
FWIW, we used preseed for seemingly forever (until the bottle I had purchased in the US ran out while living in France) and didn't get knocked up.
The one cycle I used "sperm killing" saliva, gave up on OPKs, drank lots of scotch because I thought we'd be done TTC forever and fought with DH all through my fertile week, I got pregnant.
ETA: and @starry, that was also the week we only had sex maybe once after having had sex nearly daily for the first 10 months or so we were TTC. (This was month 18, by then we were down to daily during fertile week, 2-3x other weeks.)

This worried me but its quick. I actually thought the transfer was worse because you need a full bladder!

This is what I'm most worried about too. :/
I'm CD11 on first IVF cycle. Just started Ganirelix last night. I have 7 follicles over 9 so far, with the largest at 14.7. I go back tomorrow morning for another monitoring appointment.

I did forget to mention that I had my annual exam in November on CD7 and the gyno noticed I was going to ovulate soon as there were 2 eggs in the hopper :-)
We decided to abstain that month as we didn't want twins ;-)
So I am guessing I am still ovulating early as I did with DD.
