#1 I was VERY nauseous, puked a couple of times, had a million food aversions, and ate cereal and eggs to make it through first tri. A lot of back pain. Bad skin. Turned out to be a boy.
#2 Nauseous, but less so. Never puked. Had only a handful of aversions and mostly ate normally even in first tri. More hip pain, same back pain. Awful skin. Turned out to be a girl. I felt different the second time and figured it was the opposite sex, but I have no 3rd child to tell me if the pattern holds up or not
1st pregnancy we ttc for 12 mos, ended in miscarriage then got pregnant with J 2 mos later. Ms was gone by about 10 or 11 weeks and was generally isolated to the afternoons. I had some hip pain towards the end but I was working out for most of the pregnancy.
2nd we ttc 1 mo and then got a 2 for 1 special. I was very sick until about 16 weeks. I would wake up in the motn sick it and it was 24 hrs a day and just awful. I also had near complete separation of my pubic symphasis and was in a lot of pain.
To be fair though, my second was twins so it's not really comparing apples to apples.
Very sick with both, vomiting multiple times per day until 20+ weeks. Actually a little sicker with number two. Both were boys. Gained a lot less weight the second time because I knew from experience how hard it was for me to lose it. Plus the vomiting helped.

Very similar.
First is a girl who weighed 6lbs 6oz. Second is a boy who weighed 8lbs 6oz.
Pregnancies were nearly identical as were my bumps. I craved more oranges with her and more sugar and Chinese food with him. No morning sickness with either. Felt fine with both.
Both had slow growth as determined by belly growth where basically my belly stopped growing. Took first early because of suspected iugr, probably wouldn't have done similarly with #2 if I hadn't had that experience with #1. Was eventually induced with #2 8 days late.
Inductions were nearly the same but #2 much faster.
#1 I felt fine, never had MS. #2 I felt horrible. MS for weeks. I also had a way bigger tummy and felt so uncomfortable. Babies were both girls and an ounce apart.

Congrats! I only have one, but I felt like you do now the first tri. Never puked, but constantly sick feeling. Eating carbs often was what helped me. I ate a lot of healthyish bagels, rice, cereal.
I've been pregnant three times, the first was an early miscarriage (~8 weeks). I was nauseous only once with that one, for about a half hour. Do not know what the sex was.
With each of my girls, I had pretty bad nausea until 12-13 weeks, when it switched off suddenly like a light both times. I had heartburn with both, moreso with DD2 (who was breech). Weight gain was similar, and I topped off at about the same number each time. Both times I craved chocolate milk and watermelon. We were Team Green for both but I felt pretty sure that they were both girls.
When my identical twin was pregnant last year, she didn't feel nauseous at all. I called "boy" very early on, and I was right. I predict a girl for you mcfelix! Congrats.

Congrats on your pregnancy!
I was bloated (could no longer wear my wedding rings by 12 weeks), my skin broke out, had terrible headaches, morning sickness until 25 weeks with DD.
I had some morning sickness in first tri, but otherwise felt great with my second pregnancy. My skin and hair improved, only took my rings off before being wheeled in for my c-section, etc.. I pretty much knew from the start #2 was going to be a boy because I felt so different.
I'm willing to bet $1,000 GBCN dollars #3 is going to be a girl. I'm only a few weeks along and feel just like pregnancy #1 (i.e shitty).
DD1: I was 23-24. It was super easy. Heartburn, but went away with milk. Some sciatic pain. Gained about 32 pounds. She was born at 41w4d after 4.5 hours of labor. I was totally fine being overdue. She weighted 6lbs11oz.
DD2: I was 26. Relatively easy. BH started a lot earlier. Constant contractions from about 20 weeks on, but no big deal. More sciatic pain. More acid reflux. Still relatively easy. Gained about 35 pounds. She was born at 40w0d after 2.5 hours of labor. She weighed 7lbs4.5 oz. easiest labor.
DS: I was 28-29. Much harder pregnancy. A lot more sciatic pain. Way more heartburn and acid reflux. Got stretch marks for the first time. I felt much bigger that go around. I was way hungrier. I blame all that on him being a boy. I gained like 37 pounds. He was born at 39w4d or something after 3 hours of labor. He was born sunny side up which probably contributed to my sciatic pain. His labor was the most difficult because he was facing the wrong way. He was 7 pounds 2 ounces. I would have swore he was so much bigger than my girls.
With my second my ab muscles were shot to hell so I essentially had a bowling ball between my legs for the last 3 months. Oh and everyone kept saying I must be due any day starting about about 30 weeks, which was completely demoralizing!
I don't think everyone has these issues though! Congratulations!
farmvillelover - I don't think there's any correlation of symptoms and sex, but who knows! The nurse and nurse practitioner I saw yesterday both said they bet it's a girl and my body is reacting differently than my first pregnancy due to different hormones this time around. We'll know for sure in a few months!
Day 1 is Diclegis has definitely helped. I still don't feel great but much much better than I have been. Was a zombie for the first few hours this morning, as someone mentioned. But I'll take it!
