I have the Medela one and really like it. It is convenient because most of the parts are the same as my PISA, so I can use the same bottles, shields, membranes, etc. It gets my recommendation.
I had the Medela one and really liked it. It was very effective for M&D. I'm buying another one for baby#2.
ETA: the Medela breaks down really small. Flange, elbow+membrane, handle, bottle. I could put all the parts in a ziploc quart bag, and throw it into my purse. Great for dinner & movie, baby shower, etc.
I have the Medela one and an Ameda I got from the hospital. The Ameda one was good for relieving engorgement, but if I wanted to use it longer than 3 minutes it really hurt my nips. I bought the Medela and it's so much nicer.

I have the medela harmony (I think that's what it is) and I love it. I've just recently started using it exclusively at home. I can pump while feeding A in the morning and I find i empty much faster than with the pisa. It's also nice because I can leave the Pisa at work only bringing parts home to wash.

I have attempted to use mine to pump one side while he's feeding but can't seem to figure out the mechanics of it, because the baby seems to be in the way of the bottle (and I'm sort of uncoordinated). Do you turn the pump sideways to do this, or just position the baby a little differently?

I do a cradle hold and the bottle is usually between his legs and my stomach. Sometimes it's behind them. I pump into a dr Browns 8oz bottle, so it's long and will get held there by his legs.

Madela Harmony. Super easy to use and clean.
It's literally the only pump I've ever used for both kids. I only nursed 6 months and 4 months and only worked part time, so it never seemed worth it to spend $$$ on an electric when the manual worked fine.
I never had supply.issues and responded great to the manual.
The Harmony is on sale at Amazon and Target for $26. Not sure how long the sale lasts. I am thinking about getting a second one, lol. I have been hoarding pump parts and am basically trying to ensure that I'm never stuck without a pump.
Buy anyway, I do like it. Haven't used any others though.

Just like everyone else I have the medela harmony. I really like it, more so than my ameda purely yours. More effective than the electric and easy to relieve engorgement when I don't have time/location to pump.
I had the Medela. It worked well once I figured out I needed a smaller flange. Flange size is crucial with any pump. (I stuck an Ameda reducer inside the Harmony and then it actually worked.)

This is an excellent idea!
I just started doing it and I love it. Works great for me.
I'm probably the only person here but I use this. My LC gave it to me. It's not one handed but works great. Just screw it into the back of your PISA where the tubing attaches and viola, manual pump. Then push and pull. Not one handed though.

I have an Ameda that works with the parts for my Purely Yours and haven't had any problems. I recommend getting the same brand as your electric pump if the parts are interchangeable.

Same. I bought smaller shields and the Medela manual pump worked so much better after that. The shield that came with it really hurt. Granted I've only barely started pumping and haven't even attempted the electric pump yet but it seems to get the job done okay to pump a little each day.
I have the Medela one. I've only used it a few times, but I like it and it works fine. I still get more milk out of the PISA, but I like that the manual doesn't have as many parts to wash.
