We did close on the house the week of Christmas, moved in the week of New Years. I love the house, but we had some glitches to start with. We had no heat (?!?!?) the first few days after we closed, but couldn't track down the heating guy because, you know, it was Christmas. We finally had to have our real estate agent contact the owner of the rehab company on his vacation in Anguilla to make something happen and get someone to show up. Move went super smoothly once that was taken care of, we just don't have much for furniture so the house is pretty bare.
Wedding planning is coming together. My planner has been awesome at kicking my butt into gear; we have everything except a DJ, and that's just because I keep missing his calls. Dress is in, I have my hopefully only fitting soon. All it needs is the straps adjusted, the rest of it fits me like a glove.
Meanwhile, January is a nightmare in the health insurance world, so I've been doing mandatory overtime every work day since the first. I don't even see the wedding anymore, I just see the week at an all inclusive in Mexico at the end of the tunnel. (hot)
I do want to get together with everyone soon, I don't see it happening until April though. Miss all of you!
