What was the best vacation you ever took? For me it was my honeymoon. We went to Myrtle Beach and stayed at an oceanfront hotel. It was very low-key, and we had nothing planned, just decided on a new activity each day. It wasn't an exotic location, but I was just so happy. That was the happiest I ever felt.
DH's Uncle sent us on a practically all-expenses paid cruise to the Mediteranean back in 2011. We visited Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and Italy over a 12-day period (with 2 extra days in Rome). I smile every time I think about it. It was nothing short of incredible. DH recently got the Turkish rug we purchased in Ephesus framed and put up in our living room. I get to look at it every day I'm in the kitchen

As an adult, definitely out trip to Italy last year
As a kid, it was the 2-week road trip we took to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Detroit and Chicago to visit baseball stadiums (and do other touristy things, but that was the main point of the trip) It was awesome.

I know I have talked about Bonaire a lot so I will go w best family vacation.
We took a cruise w all of H's family and it was so much fun. Cruising w a big group of people is the best. Built in group/team for any activity you want to do.
This trip I took in the summer between junior and senior year of high school to Australia was pretty awesome. It was for an all star cheerleading and football thing. Lots of fun with my friends, minimal chaperones (my parents weren't there, but some were), and I met a guy.
Our honeymoon. It wasn't anything too exciting. We went to San Antonio. It was the longest vacation I've ever taken and just so nice to finally have time the two of us since we never got to fully live together before we got married.
My favorite spur of the moment vacation was to Vegas. When DH was at his old job we were staying in southern Utah. He was required to work 6 days a week minimum 60 hours and just happened to get a full weekend off because they were ahead. We left Saturday morning and got back Sunday afternoon. Spent $1500 in 24 hours. Went to two shows and just tried to get in everything we could. So much fun and so out of my comfort zone with the amount of money we spent. I'm so glad we did it.

This is hard because I have 3!
1. Costa Rica in high school. We were in super remote areas and stayed in all eco-friendly places. It was amazing to see everything we saw! I want to go back so badly!
2. Our honeymoon in Puerto Rico. It was H and I's first vacation together besides camping. Driving around there was scary, but it was amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer!
3. Disney trip last Jan. I've been there a million times, but going with H was a million times better. Plus I could drink We just had such a great time and I loved showing him everything!

katespade I used to travel to the east coast every summer too but only for a week or two. I have a lot of family in NJ (where my dad is from), MD and PA. Love it out there, hopefully I can bring H out there someday!
estrellita - My dad's family is all in NH, so I used to spend at least a month of my summers there. I miss it like crazy. If I ever get my health under control, taking H out there is the first thing that I will do.

katespade I think we drove through a little of NH once, I can't remember! I want to take a trip to Maine sometime, maybe we'll travel down the coast a bit and hit up some of the New England states!
When I was in grade 12 I went on a school trip to Costa Rica, it is my favorite trip of my childhood. If that counts as a childhood trip.
My favorite trip DH and I took was when we drove from our house in BC down the Oregon coast, and into California. We did one week in Oregon and one week in California.
I honestly cannot pick. I have had so many wonderful trips.
1) Disney trip when I was 9 & 14 with my whole family. (1999 & 2004) 2) California trip with my cousin for 2 weeks in 2010 First big vacation of planning and getting around on our own! 3) Latvia and Sweden in 2006 with a church group on a missions trip. It was one of my favorite life experiences. 4) Washington DC a few times between 2011 & 2013 Great memories! 5) Daytona/Orlando with my dad and sister in 2013 6) Honeymoon Spring 2013 to Tennessee. Lots of bucket list things checked off and lovely times with my H
There are so many more I'd put down, but I definitely already cheated haha!

rockinrobyn Jealous! I still regret not doing a short term study abroad class I could have taken one summer. It would have been to Italy and Greece. I think I decided against it because of money, but I should have just done it!
We went with no reservations, just showed up and went town to town every couple days. We stopped by and had mushroom shakes at the Full Moon Party which was a ton of fun and then randomly made a last minute trip to Cambodia and walked all over Angkor Wat. 3 weeks in SE Asia.

It was one thing I always said I was going to do in college no matter what. I have never regretted my decision. I encourage everyone to do it if they have the chance.
When my cousin got married, more than 30 of my extended family members rented a 12-bedroom beach house in South Carolina. I thought it might be insane, but it was the best trip! I wish we could do it again.
I also loved when H and I went to San Francisco. We loved hiking in the redwoods and driving the coast to Monterey Bay.
And our honeymoon cruise was great too!
I loved my work trip to London and would love to to back there for fun.
