DD just woke us up early covered in vomit. I should keep her home from daycare, right? She was sent home on Monday with a fever that went away by morning, and she was back at daycare yesterday. I really don't want to lose another work day :-(
Sigh. Thanks for the confirmation. DH had this hope we could send her in anyway because she doesn't have a fever, but I'm pretty sure that's a bad idea. jeaniebueller I'll keep a close eye out for symptoms, DD has been lucky so far and hasn't gotten anything really bad yet, just the occasional ear infection and mysterious fever.
Yes. Hopefully she just vomits once and can go back tomorrow. We have had that happen before!
I hope so.
Btw, thanks everyone for answering my somewhat obvious question. We don't really know many people IRL to ask these sorts of things (especially at 5:30am), and although "common sense" can provide guidance, it's not always that obvious in situations you haven't encountered before so it's nice to get a sanity check.

I hope it's a quick bug. DD threw up twice at daycare last Friday afternoon (not sick at all at dropoff) at around 4:00, DH went to go pick her up around 4:30, she puked on him again at pickup, took her to the pedi who said it seemed like a minor bug since she was otherwise in good spirits and no other symptoms, and sure enough, she didn't puke at all after that. She was completely fine the next morning but it was Saturday so no daycare anyway.
