How do you label bottles for daycare? I keep writing in sharpie and it just keeps coming off in the dishwasher.
Do you go see LO on your break at daycare? I'll have this opportunity but I can't figure out of it will be harder on us or not? DCP said he may associate me with going home and he may be upset when I leave nid day without him.
Label her name or the date? We use name bubbles for her stuff. For the date, I bought Martha Stewart labels and wrote on those. They would stand up to the warmers at dc and peeled off easily at Ned of day.

We use tape for her name and the date--each kid at daycare gets a different color. The tape with her name stays on the cap and hasn't come off or faded when we wash it, and we write w new date every day and just peal off the old one.
I go at lunch to nurse, and so far I haven't had a problem with her thinking it's time to go when I show up, but she's a bit young for that reaction (7.5 mo old).

Convertible car seat question.
I have the britax click connect marathon. DD is 10 months.
How does it work for the recline angle? There are two options - infant or toddler. She is still an infant, right? Until when? Right now she is at the most reclined possible. Seems really reclined. She is about 28in, 17 lbs if that makes a difference.
We used name bubbles for DD's name and painters tape with a sharpie for the date. We also use name bubbles for clothes that could be lost (outerwear, sweatshirts) and her shoes.
I realized quickly that she wanted finger food (maybe 8 months). I still use my frozen purees by mixing them in with stuff. Last night she had couscous and I mixed in frozen purees of spinach and broccoli.
Fruit purees I mix in with yoghurt or spread on pita or pancakes for her.
How do you teach a toddler to use a blanket? DD's room gets cold at night, but she hates sleep sacks and refuses blankets 99% of the time. She says she can't move under them. She moves a ton in her sleep, so I get that the restricted movement sucks, but she's waking in the MOTN complaining about being cold even in her fleece footed sleepers. I had hoped that logic would kick in and she'd just start using the blankets, but so far that isn't working. Any suggestions??
We use MeYLables (from Etsy) for his name, and I use masking tape for the date and contents.
MeYLabels here, too, but we don't have to date or anything. Just his name. They've held up really well and we've been pleased.
I've nursed him at lunch since he started daycare and am thinking about quitting soon, actually. He does cry and get upset when I leave lately. His nap schedule has also changed post-holidays so he's sometimes napping when I go by and I'll just leave a bottle instead of waking him.
Where do you put your infant right after a feeding? They're wide awake and want to play (and I have to pump) so I put them on playmat and move to boppy if they get bored. I feel like I need better options but I cant hold both.

If DD wants to play but I can't hold her, I'll put her in a containment device (swing, RNP) somewhere that she can see me and talk or sing to her. Could you do that while you pump? Also, do you have a KNP piano? That keeps her entertained way longer than a regular playmat. The noise might drive you crazy with 2, but maybe they could trade off?
Another vote for Name Bubbles for bottles (and we still use them for Tupperware, and use their clothing labels for spare clothes, hats, jackets, mittens, etc etc). I used a China Marker (wax pencil, basically, but formal name is China marker in case you're looking to order online) for the date because it doesn't rub off easily or when wet, only when dry and with a paper towel so it makes no mess and stays put.

I've heard of that playmat and might look into it. Whats one more thing in my living room
Does your toddler take a vitamin? If yes, why, which one?
How do you limit milk if you have a milkaholic? Some days I can distract her with water but others she just screams for it and will easily drink more than 24oz.
C has badly cracked heels. She has sensitive skin and bad ezcema all of which the pedi said can be made worse with teething, but I can't figure out the heels! Lotion and Aquafor do nothing.
How many words at 16mo should/did your LO have? C only has about four, and signs for more (not worried, just curious!) I know there's usually a big boom in the next few months? She's very vocal, but nothing is understandable.
We give DS a Flintstones and some omega-3 gummies. We started because I was worried about his iron because he didn't eat meat. We keep going because he is erratic in his eating habits. The omega-3's got added in because maybe they help with sleep? They don't. But they're probably good for him.
Pedi-egg the heels? I get cracks and I have to remove them and then be religious with the moisturizing.
DD is 17 months and has a few words (mama, up, NO!). All I remember is 2-word phrases by 2 being the milestone that sent DS on his journey to ear tubes.

We just started using the bumbo this week and they both love it. Do your two have the neck strength for it yet? Otherwise I'll typically use the RNP, swing or KNP piano. Sometimes I can also put one in the crib as they love to look/listen to their mobile.
Did you do anything special when transitioning from Newborn to Infant formula?
Also, how about making the switch in bottle nipples as it looks like the ones we have now are for up to 3 months then there is a different 3 month one.
Did anyone's babies have trouble getting the hang of eating? DS2 is 9.5 months, and cannot get the chew/swallow thing down. He will kind of gnaw on things, but anything with even the slightest bit of texture just gets gagged on (see vomiting Panera incident after choking on bread!)

DD (13 mo) still drinks NB formula. I have some laying around from when my MFM loaded us up a few months ago. I also had a bunch of NB cans and mailed them to my friend for his 8 month old, his DD also drinks anything you give her. At least for Enfamil, I read all the ingredients and vitamins and stuff - they are all nearly identical. It seems like it is mostly marketing.
We switched nipples when it was clear she was getting angry at the bottle or she was taking forever to drink it. We went from slow to medium around 5 mo so 3 mo adjusted. She was legit grrrrring at her bottles and refusing them when usually she would chug them. Switched nipples and problem solved.

We never used NB formula bc as far as I know Similac doesn't make it. We changed nipples at 6w (NB to slow) and again at 3.5 months (slow to medium). We didn't do anything special, but we could tell each time she was getting frustrated at the slow flow.

L seems to hate solids - she'll mash her lips together and turn away. But she is super interested in our food. I just keep trying, right (duh)? Please reassure me that she won't still be drinking formula in college!
