I'm trying to pry myself out of bed. I'm pretty sure I only got up 3 times yesterday.
I can't imagine using dry shampoo on an every other day schedule.
Hellloooooooo didn't you get my text. I don't think I'll need to do that, but at this stage to get through the transition - yes yes I do after going from so much washing to not.

I spent most of yesterday thinking today was Friday and was so disappointed when I realized it wasn't.
I just entered the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes and plan on doing so daily. Screw finding a new job....I just want to win a lot of money and not work anymore!
I can't use dry shampoo. It makes my hair so sticky and gross, but I've found that baby powder works wonders on controlling greasiness on the days I don't wash my hair.
I'm was still pissed off at my kid this morning. I packed up all his train tracks.
Wouldn't go to sleep last night?
Just a guess. Mine didn't fall asleep until 9:30 last night. His bedtime is 8:00. He was a damn grouch this morning when I woke him up. Sorry kid, but if you'd go to sleep instead of trying to play with your toys, you'd be more rested.
He was just not listening. Jumping around, throwing things, refusing time out. I sent him to bed early. Which caused two hours of "nooooo! Daddy! Saaaave meeeeeee! Gooooo away mommy!"
H says he's being an angel today. Ha.
I thought we were almost over this crap this age is rough.

:?
I did get your text, but I would like to open up the topic for conversation. Helllloooooooo.
I gave multiple time outs last night. And I slept but feel like I didn't sleep.
Those nights are the worst. If things start getting too out of hand with bad behavior, I just declare that it's bed time since she can't seem to behave.

I HAVE to wash my hair everyday. It is so fine and thin that even after 8 hours, it starts to get greasy. That, with a combination of sweat, on a daily basis, it would get super gross super fast.
I tried doing the "no poo" method and that ended up in a complete disaster. I envy those that don't have to wash their hair everyday.

So this is mine too. How long did you try the no poo method? I've actually read that the oils that come from sweat act as good conditioner for your hair and although we mentally think sweat is gross, if you comb them through your hair and don't wash - it actually HELPS your hair.
It's still hard for me to mentally wrap my brain around that, but I'm trying it.
I will skip washing my hair on weekends. But the time Monday morning rolls around and I go to wash it, it looks like the Exxon Valdez ran a ground on my head.
In the summer, I will go every other day since I wear my hair up more often.
For those who didn't see it last night - PF started taking her first independent steps at home.
She's been taking 2-3 steps with her physical therapist at school sporadically but she's never done it at all at home. Last night that all changed. It was wobbly, and she looked drunk, but she's really and truly on the verge of independent movement! She even stood for several seconds on her own without tipping. I'm so excited that I can barely breathe.

He's almost 4 right? I feel like him and my DS are basically the same age.
I have some of that going on too. He's finally over throwing stuff, but he likes to jump on the couches and just when I think I have him where I want him, I get "you butthead" or "you're a turd".

Grrrr kid, grrrrr.
4 in April. I hear it gets better then?
If I hear "no" or "go away" one more time... Though the other day he was acting a fool (more dangerous jumping from coffee table, to chair, to sofa, and back again) and he went into time out. He's crying in time out "I'm not bad! I'm not bad, mommy!".
I have so much hair that I'd spend my entire life blow drying it if I washed every day. I generally wash it every third day even with working out almost daily. By the third day I generally pull it back.

DS does that "Go away" a lot. And I swear, he says "no" more than I do! He will be 4 in August.

I tried it for about a week and my head was itchy and my hair looked like clumped straw.
I wash mine every other day, sometimes a little more, but never less. My hair is super thick and it looks so flat and yucky when I don't do it every other day. I never had any scalp issues, and my ends aren't bad. Maybe it is because I do not use and heat on it(no dryer 85% of the time and a straightener maybe 4 times a year.

So I was washing 2x a day, blowing drying 2x a day and using the straightener at least once a day. Yikes. No wonder I had so much damage!
I too wash my hair every other day. It took a while to adjust but now my hair looks better than ever. I also don't have a itchy scalp anymore.
I got up early this morning and went to the Doctor. I arrived 15 minutes early. They however kept me waiting 45! Ugh. Anyway my visit went well and I just have bruising under my big toe nails from yoga. yeah for being healthy boo for ugly nails.
I really wish today was Friday. I also wish I could eat what ever I want with reckless disregard. I'm tired of eating healthy and it's only been two weeks. I will love it when I drop these extra pounds off my body so I am sticking to it.

Yup, same age. Mine will be 4 on St Patrick's day.
Mine doesn't say go away, but "no" and "I don't wanna" are common.
I may have started the furniture jumping over the summer. I showed him how to jump from coffee table to couch to couch to pillow on the floor and climb back up on the coffee table... all to avoid the crocodiles in the "water" (blue carpet).

Did you transition riverpestie? Like I have gone from 2x a day to 1x a day and now I'm starting an every other day schedule. It's been almost a week for me. My head is a little itchy, but I'm trying to hold out!

Noooooooooo. I didn't try that! I just changed cold turkey. WHen do you go from every other day or no poo to everyday? But I also don't use your typical shampoo.
Also, can you please shoot me a text? I have a picture to send to you and my new phone didn't transfer all the numbers for some stupid reason.

I read it's hard to do it cold turkey, so that's why I'm transitioning from so frequently to not. I've just been waiting until I'm ready to keep waiting longer.. I was going to wash it this morning, but I thought, "you know, I'm going to try this today."

well, I mean when it's a game... When he's doing it and I've told him not to, game on
doglove, why did you wash and dry your hair twice a day?
I am curious.
OCD? Just always would wash in the shower in the AM and then after a PM workout. I clearly have some issues with being overly clean that I think stem from childhood issues. I think that's what makes breaking this stuff so mentally challenging for me.
