H is taking a nutrition class dealing with pregnancy/kids/etc.. He wants to wait one more month before talking with my OB and in that month wants us to make small changes in our diets. We don't eat terrible, but I don't eat enough food and definately don't eat enough veggies. His book also says you should decrease caffiene intake. I have about 16oz of coffee every morning then drink water all day. I am already taking B6, Folate, and a prenatal. So....have any of you changed your diets? Increased supplements?
I have decreased my caffiene but not specifically for TTC. I have high BP and caffiene cane make me feel pretty gross. I'm also trying to eat better and lose weight but that's something I was aiming for prior to TTC.

I'm trying to eat better, but more so just for life. I have cut down on caffeine, I usually skip coffee and just do tea instead, but not always. I do try to eat/drink more foods with antioxidants in them, like pomegranate juice, green tea, sweet potatoes, etc. I just take a prenatal and a fish oil every morning, H takes a multivitamin and some extra supplements to help sperm quality (since his SA). Another major thing that can help is trying to get a workout in every few days, good for you and H.
I def. don't think trying to make some nutrition or lifestyle changes is a bad thing, but also I wouldn't let this set you back too long. Lots of women get pregnant while eating complete crap diets and lots of women have trouble getting pregnant while eating great - I think trying to eat cleaner, etc. is just another way to give us some control over the process since you kind of lose all control.
* I cut out coffee, but get caffeine from an occasioal cup of tea/chocolate. * I decreased wine to maybe one glass every other day or every 3 days. * I've read that salty snacks are better than sugar in terms of CM health. * I've continued regular exercise and tone it down on CD1-4 and 6-11 dpo. (I still exercise...I just don't kill myself on those days.)
Supplements for me: Prenatal Vitamin, Fertile CM, Folic Acid, Fish Oil, Antioxidants, B Vitamin Supplement Supplements for DH: FertilityBlend, L-Arginine, Vitamin C, Antioxidants
For Diet: I would suggest you look at the "Making Babies" book. It's written from the perspective of Western and Eastern medicine in terms of diet changes for fertility. I have it on e-book and like it a lot.

This exactly. I see it as helping me continue to be healthy and give me something to focus on.
I've just started taking agnus castus (aka vitex) in addition to my prenatal. It's supposed to help balance out your hormones or some shit. I have never, ever been into natural "remedies" but figure it can't hurt while we wait for our appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic. I was hoping it might give me a pregnancy that sticks.
In general, I try to eat healthy and clean, and have been doing a better job of it lately, along with working out. I figure that being healthy won't hurt my chances of getting pregnant, plus it is making me feel good.
I drink 1, 7oz cup of coffee in the morning, and a skim latte in the afternoon. The size of my morning coffee has definitely decreased. I am probably going to start making my afternoon latte decaf though.
I decreased my coffee from 3 cups to 2 cups per day. I'd eventually like to get down to 1 cup per day. I drink decaf green tea 1-2x per day.
I take a prenatal in the mornings and no other supplements.
I am trying to lose weight through clean eating and exercise. I gained 20 pounds last year from poor eating and laziness, so I want to lose what I gained.
My goal this year is to just take better care of myself and become more healthy. I've definitely slacked off the last year or so with taking care of myself.
I didn't eat very well when I got pregnant with #1, but totally changed my lifestyle after he was born, so it's much better now. I have 1 coffee each morning (homemade latte), but otherwise only drink water and the occasional green tea. I reduced alcohol consumption just for the calories, so I usually just have one on Saturday nights. I was taking a powdered greens supplement when I got pregnant the first time this round of TTC that gave me a ton of energy, but my OB wasn't comfortable with me taking it during pregnancy, so I didn't reorder, thinking I'd get pregnant again quickly. With my bad FSH results this month, I just ordered more. MH's SA came back last night and I don't think it looks good, so I'm going to make him take it too. He eats like crap with the exception of the dinners I make (except he still doesn't eat enough veggies), so I'm hoping it helps. I'm a little embarrassed because it's from an MLM that a friend sells, but whatever.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

I don't take any supplements, as it stands. We've been TTC for 24 cycles now, and I stopped taking prenatals awhile back. I'll start back up when we get pregnant. Otherwise, I track what I eat religiously, to make sure that I get enough nutrients, to make sure I don't need to take a regular multi-vitamin.
I made a lot of diet changes once we moved back to the US, primarily because I was overweight and needed to make changes for lifelong health. I haven't done anything specific for TTC.

I'm limiting caffeine to about 2 drinks a day and trying to eat healthier overall. I take a prenatal, probiotic, extra folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin D, and fish oil.
In the past I've tried taking a B Complex and Vitex, both in an effort to lengthen my LP, which somewhat worked but is irrelevant now that we're seeing an RE.

I dropped my caffeine intake - I was at least 2-3 12oz cups a day, sometimes more. Now I have one cup in the morning and occasionally a second cup or chai tea latte in the afternoon. That's the only major dietary change I've made.
I take b6, vit d and added vitex a few months ago (my LP was on the shortish side the first time around). I'm trying to get to yoga at least once a week, it's too cold to walk outside here.

i take a prenatal with DHA and a b-complex vitamin. the B seemed to fix my slightly short LP, now it's 12 days instead of 10 or 11. i'm contemplating adding in a vitamin E, i read it can help with your uterine lining. right now i only bleed for 2 days and it's moderate at best, so i feel like beefing it up a little couldn't hurt (never thought i'd wish for a longer period).

I eat about 80-20 paleo so relatively clean. I take a PNV with DHA. Also b-12 supplement, extra omega-3, co-q10, DSF, Drenatrophin, and ovatrophin. The last three are recommended by my chiro. This last cycle I noticed that I didn't spot as much as I previously had been and that AF was closer to three days than less than two like it has been.
The book "it starts with the egg" has a lot of ideas about supplements and nutrition. The girls over on TTTC recommended that.
I take prenatals on and off. During the times I've gotten depressed about TTTC over the past 22 cycles, I have stopped taking them because I just couldn't bring myself to seeing that bottle every day. I started taking them again Jan 1st, but more because I need a multivitamin and I'm cheap- the prenatals are free through insurance, but multivitamins are not.
I just started taking Vitamin D as prescribed, but that is more for general health/hopefully to feel less fatigue every day, not for TTC.
I eat clean and keep a vegetarian kitchen (for my H, I eat meat when we go out). I drink coffee in the morning and water or herbal tea, I don't drink alcohol but I do love a ginger ale maybe once a week. We're also environmentally conscious and try to keep chemicals out of our home for the most part, I make most of our cleaning supplies and we buy US made natural products whenever we can. I take tonssss of vitamin d for my low blood pressure/ vertigo, a b complex, glucosamine and dabble with holistic treatments for sickness.
All of that is to make up for my candy addiction LOL! I loooove fruity candy and don't ever want to give it up!!
For ttc specifically I added a prenatal and cut coffee out exception the morning. But I highly highly rec anyone try clean eating, it's not terribly hard once you get the hang of it but dang does it make a difference in how I feel!
