Just booked our anniversary trip

Our 10 year is in May. We're doing a cruise of the southern Caribbean - Puerto Rico, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, and St. Maarten.

I have never cruised before and don't know if I'll like being herded, but we got the unlimited booze plan and a balcony so whaaaaaaatever! Tralala! lol

Fun! We did western Caribbean for our honeymoon. I hated the days we boarded and got off. The rest was pretty fun.

For reals, we've only ever cruised with a blacony. Watching the sun rise or set together, warm air, with coffee or a nightcap. Freaking heaven for us.

I really want to do a Southern Caribbean cruise. JealousE.

ETA: RCCL is our favorite, so far. We loved every minute on that cruise.

It doesn't. If it was Carnival, I would have said, "...oh... bless your heart..."

I've been on 5-6 RC cruises and they do a fantastic job. You'll have a great time!

haha, my bff and her fi just went on a carnival cruise and actually loved it. She said it was over the top gaudy, but everyone was just SO NICE and helpful, that they will totally do carnival again.

Yay! That's awesome. That sounds like a really nice itinerary. I love RCL. I've been on 3 cruises with them, but it's been a couple of years. I had no idea they had unlimited booze packages, I know for next time.

I think cruises are fun and I think RCL does a good job because I don't think they are overcrowded. I like that there is plenty of onboard entertainment.

I like visiting the boards on cruisecritic to read trip reviews prior to a cruise.

I am so jealous!! Our 10 year anniversary is the end of this month and I can't in good conscience leave my up all night, nursing all night, crazy children for the night if I want my mom to show up to work on Monday lol

$55/pp/day

The package with booze up to $12/glass is $49/pp, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they'd price the good stuff at $13/glass and it's worth $6/day to me to not deal with that shit.

LOL, I haven't done a cruise but I've heard of enough people with $900 - $1500 bar tabs for the week to know this! (And if yours was higher than that, I'm really impressed, haha.)

I love RCCL. We're going on one in a little over a week and booked a family cruise for February '16 earlier this week on Oasis!
