The house itself It's beautiful and new. I love that it's all brick. I love the granite, the tile....all of it. I love how energy efficient it is. Our energy bills have been SIGNIFIGANTLY lower. We love how efficient the space is.

1. Lots of stuff nearby (shops, restaurants etc) 2. Bus stop right on the corner with multiple routes 3. Close to downtown but has more of a neighborhood feel 4. Only ~4 hours to my parents' house 5. Apartment was upgraded, especially love the new kitchen and the washer & dryer 6. Fireplace 7. Corner unit so more private/more windows
I love that it's in a quiet safe neighborhood. I love that they go out during Christmas time and Halloween. I love my city train system. As this is super close to my drive and I don't have to worry about traffic when I have to drive alone. I really appreciate having my inlaws local and they are the most supportive loving people ever. I don't think I could have done this kid thing without them.
These days I'm thankful for having an open-concept floor plan so that the dog can run around indoors! It's so cold outside that even she doesn't want to be out there for long. I'm also grateful for the garage to keep the car from getting covered in snow. And of course indoor heat and hot showers.

1. The house is amazing, especially the kitchen 2. Our neighbors 3. Great community and place to raise a family 4. Our church 5. Affordable 6. Close to family, espeially my mom
I don't like that we have to drive to go do anything. We have minimal choices for grocery, restaurants, etc and the closest mall is 20+ min away (shopping center; actual mall is 35 min away).
1) Rent and everything we get with this. 2) A corner apartment. So much privacy and not close neighbors. Lots of light. 3) Location, we are in the quiet part of town. 4) Close to the waterfront, which is quite beautiful 5) Our bed. I will never sleep in a more comfortable bed! 6) Our city, you never have to drive very far to anything, which is awesome on gas. 7) GAS PRICES!

I complain about this place a lot, BUT there are definitely positives!
-Fireplace. Not something I cared about having, but it's so nice on those freezing cold nights! -Workout room. Because I don't want to buy a treadmill and I cancelled my gym membership until after ML. -We are within a few hours of quite a few things. Although I don't like not being super close to my family, everyone is pretty much within less than 2 hours of us, so it could definitely be worse. It is nice that it's a shorter drive for a lot of the nice camping spots and to see places like Duluth! -I don't spend enough time with them, but the friends we have here are pretty awesome! -Fairly safe area. There are some shady areas in this city, but we live in one of the nicer areas. Unfortunately the schools are terrible over here, so we are planning on moving to another fairly nice area (technically like a "suburb" of the city we live in) with a better school district.
- rent is cheap for the area and includes oil and electric - it's pretty large and we have a big pantry (that I need to clean lol) - I'm only about 20 minutes to work
My home is pretty and not too big, not too small. And I love the neighborhood and it's proximity to work, grocery store, etc. And it's MINE, you know? I spent last summer putting some work into it, and I have a few more projects in mind. When one puts so much physical effort into a house, it makes it feel yours, ya know? Makes me look forward to building eventually.
My town... I love the size, also not too big or too small. Good medical facilities, okay shopping and restaurants (but fairly quick access to larger cities for better shopping, restaurants, etc), good people. Lots of options for kids and families. Having a larger university in town means lots of diversity, entertainment, employment, and good k-12 schools.
Town: there are lots of things to do, like restaurants, stores, and more. My town was in the top 10 of the Time Magazine best places to live in the US that came out a few months ago.
Apartment: my apartment is really nothing special, but it is spacious and bright and has great closet space.

Home: I love it. Perfect size. All the features I wanted: updated kitchen, open concept, high ceilings, tiled shower (wow, I really sound like an episode of House Hunters). We stayed in the low to moderate part of our budget, so our mortgage is reasonable.
City: Everything. If this place had a beach and family, I'd never leave. For those that know where I live, that suprised even me.
It's 4.5 miles door to door from my work. That's about it I want to move . I hate our HOA.
Town: Has pretty much everything we need. Not as much congestion/traffic as the city I grew up in. The "far side" of town is only about 10-12 minutes drive away, and that's only if I get hit with every red light.
-My home is like a dream home for me. I still want to do a few updates but I love being able to make it my own. -Plenty of room to grow. -Good size backyard for my pups. -I live 2 miles from work. -Nice neighborhood with lots of families. -There's always tons of people out walking, running, riding their bikes, or walking their dogs. -Awesome shopping and restaurants. -Living in the same city as my family. -I feel like anything I want is available to me in this city. Want to see any type of museum? Museum district. Shopping for something in particular? If my mall doesn't have it then the galleria or some other store definitely does. Want to see a concert? Everyone performs here. Want to see a live show or ballet? Done. Have a major medical problem? Just go to one of the best medical centers in the country. I've been to almost every type of professional sports game here with the exception of soccer because I have no desire to. I like living here
1: Sun comes right in the front windows for most of the day 2: A window seat (a silly dream come true) 3: Several delicious ice cream places within walking distance 4: My new roman shades fit, match, and look great! (Double thankful for this today) 5: We live on a main plow route so we don't get snowed in 6: One of the city's top two parks just one block away 7: The houses across the road are all matching, adorable, and well maintained
My commute is amazing now! I went from almost an hour to 10 minutes. It's heaven.
My parents are five minutes away, and my mom and I are really close, so it's fun to hang out more often.
As far as the house itself, I love that it has wood floors and crown moulding. It's a rental and I still can't believe we found such a nice one. Oh, and it has a wine fridge!
