It seems a little weird, but I would stick with it as long as your kids are enjoying it. It's probably good experience for the teens and college students. And if whoever runs the program felt like it was a waste of resources, I would guess they would cancel it?
Heck no, I wouldn't feel weird. DD is in a tumbling class right now, and was the only kid for the first half of her first session. She loved it, and so did I. Then the second session came along and there are 6 kids--boo.
As long as your kids enjoy it, I would stick with it. Maybe they will adjust the number of teachers based on the size of the class? Otherwise your sons are getting private lessons for a good price.
P.S. Tennis is such a great lifetime sport! (I started lessons in 1st grade and went on to be the captain of my HS team)
I've seen a lot of group activities state there needs to be a minimum of X number particpants for the class to go on. They are ok with just having two signed up, so I wouldn't feel weird at all, just lucky!

I'd stick with it. They might adjust the number of teachers or end up canceling it due to low enrollment, but if they were willing to keep the class going, I'd be happy to have my kids get private lessons at the group rate!
They know who signed up in advance though - they could have cancelled the whole thing due to low enrollment.
Since that didn't happen, enjoy it.
This is what my H said. I feel bad though, like I should offer, lol. Hopefully the director won't make all the older kids come next week. They're just standing around with nothing to do.
We had this happen with community swim once- we only signed up because DS needed to do it to demonstrate some skills toward his BSA rank adavncement, so he was older than most kids there. He and another older kid formed one group; and the other kid was routinely 15 minutes late. Worked for us. DS enjoyed the one:one attention of the instructor.
