heygrey do they have a hot tub? That's the only thing I can come up with. Our neighbor does this sometimes and he has one.
nope, no hot tub.
i'm fine with hot tubbing in the buff, but wouldn't you grab a housecoat if you needed to run out for minute? particularly because it's below freezing??
im still so perplexed by this. i don't know him super well because they are new neighbors within the last year, but they've always been friendly, and always appropriately clothed until tonight.
How bad is it to take a 12 month old out for 1-2 hours at 9pm? She's been sleeping since 5:30pm and will likely wake up before then.
I'm curious what would motivate you to do this... my babies could probably do it, but going back to bed after getting home again might be a little rough.
We are in Disney and got last minute fast passes to see the fireworks from a reserved location. We did it and she was fine. She had napped from 5:30-8:45.
Ha! I just posted a question for clarification on your FB status. Saw that before I popped over here. So is it Toodles as in British for bye or Oh, Toodles, how could you do that (with Toodles being a proper name)?
in other news, i went to target this afternoon (may it rest in peace), and met identical triplet girls that were 1 month old. omg. so much cuteness in one giant snap'n'go. the mom looked amazingly good. i was barely functioning out of the house on my own at one month with a single baby, let alone three. the mom was really receptive to all the attention, too. i was pillaging the clearance baby clothes and happened to see the crowd forming, she was happy to answer questions and seemed to love the attention her girls got.
DS2 and I are on hour 2+ of waiting in the ER waiting room. Yesterday he was diagnosed with an ear infection and started antibiotics. This morning he vomited. Then at bedtime he couldn't move his head back for me to brush/floss, and still had a fever of 102.
After waiting for 1.5 hours for the on call doc to return my call, when I finally spoke to him he said we should head to the ER. So here we are. Of course he seems almost fine now.
I'm up at 12:30 breaking our "technology sabbath" (no computers/phones/internet Friday evening through Saturday when DD goes to bed - no, we're not Jewish). Unfortunately the reason I'm up is I have DD's stomach bug she had on Wednesday night. I've thrown up like 8 times now and TMI - my other end is now unhappy as well. The worst part is I can't tell how much of the vomiting is from illness and how much is morning sickness caused by my emptier than empty stomach. I'm trying to sip liquids slowly, but they keep coming back up. Sorry for the TMI, just needed to vent. I moved to the couch so as not to wake DH so he'll be fit to watch DD in the morning. Just hanging out on the internet, I don't think sleep is coming soon.
It's the MOTN and I'm still up. I love this silence in my house. I don't want to go to sleep and have to wake up to noise and chaos.
I was looking at FB profiles of my two younger friends getting married this year. I feel inspired to go to the gym tomorrow. I'm going to the supermarket first to buy me a huge bag of lettuce.

I am so mad at myself. I successfully lost 8lbs last year and even got 4 lbs under pre-preg weight. Now I am back close to pre-preg weight, I am in bed, sitting, eating. Wtf is wrong with me! DH keeps gently reminding me as to when I might workout and all I could think of is food! And no I am not pregnant as I just had my period (although I was so worried that I was before that).
I brought up doing weight watchers to DH tonight. I've done it before with good success but DH has never done it. We could both stand to lose 20 pounds. He doesn't like that it would be close to $100 a month for both of us to attend meetings and I can't argue that.
Sometimes I mix DD and our dogs up. Our dog was at the back door whining (her signal to go out) and I walked over and said, "Oh, do you want to go outside? Outside? Say outside.". Then I realized she will never say outside because she's a dog!!
ask him what your health is worth. Ask him to just do it for one month. He/you can quit at any time.
Dd went down at 8:30 for the night and woke up at 9:10 screaming. Was up until 10, had Tylenol and then was up again at midnight until 2. I felt so bad because I thought she had an ear infection because she was telling me her ear hurt. Got back from the ER this morning...she has a respiratory infection and fluid buildup behind her ear poor thing.
oswin and @grosni19 hope everyone feels better, sounds like a rough night for both of you!
DS2 woke up at 1230 and ate and went back down - he was back asleep by 1245, which is great. Except that I couldn't fall back asleep until well after 2. Ugh.
Thanks. I got about an hour of sleep and haven't thrown up in 2, so I'm hoping the worst is over.
