I've been up since 5:11 with demon toddler. Throw the ball, oh my god why would you throw the ball? You've ruined my life throwing that ball. Find me a bowl for my goldfish. NOT THAT BOWL! I need a bowl that apparently doesn't exist but you better find it.
Swimming lessons at 9 then I'm off with friends tonight. THANK GOD.
I woke up before the kids at 6 because I was having a dream that someone was selling our house in South Carolina but it was $30k less than when we purchased it 5 years ago, so we were going to have to bring a lot of money to the table. That was scary but it would be nice to sell!
I was gonna go run this morning but I am still in bed. I was feeling sick last night when I went to bed and that's how I am justifying my laziness. Gonna try to get back on track on Monday.
I desperately need to find accent chairs for my living room this weekend. So furniture shopping it is!

I have been up and down with DS2 all night long, he's having trouble sleeping because of his cough. I just know when DH gets up he's going to say, "When did the the baby get up? I slept so hard I didn't hear him at all last night!" And then I will have to murder him.
We were supposed to go pick up DH at the airport in an hour but his flight was cancelled. Ugh. Have to leave for my grandfathers 90th birthday in a few hours and he may have to drive all the way from Philly.
Dd fell asleep on the way home from the ER, she slept for 2 hours. So I guess no afternoon nap :-(. We are watching Peppa Pig, it is in Spanish so at least she is learning while I phone it in today :-).
Yaaawn. Well, postponing my dinner with a friend last night was the right call. DH crashed as soon as I got DS to bed. Then DS was up every other hour or so, all night long, coughing and crying That was AFTER busting out the nebulizer and ibuprofen. Poor guys. I am so.tired. Maybe 4 hours of broken sleep total?
Besides being awake since 3 am with DD, whose mornings are getting earlier and earlier....
I'm in the most glorious mood. Friday was the first day of "weekly housecleaning" and I am sitting here on a Saturday morning with nothing more to do but laundry, to empty the dishwasher, and scrub a few bottles.
I have old college friends visiting to see DD today and there is really nothing I have to clean before they get here. We aren't rolling in dough, but this drinking coffee with nothing to worry about feeling is PRICELESS. House cleaners were the best purchase I ever made.
@supergreen I hope everyone gets better soon so momma can get some rest! I had a very sick husband this past week then DD got sick so I've been running myself into the ground trying to take care of both babies. It's exhausting.

DS has moved up to the toddler class and now takes one nap....for 2.5-3 hours. Great, only know his morning wakes has moved from 6:30 to 5:40 on the bright side I have organized my spice drawer as part of the organization challenge.
Also disposable people - any overnight recs that aren't Huggies? They give him a rash. I bought generic overnights at our grocery store and he peed through them instantly.
I'll probably gave CD questions later too. So much pee over here at the simpledog house.
Two year olds can be dumb. I asked J if she wanted to play her Melissa and Doug puzzle with me. She said "NO! I want to play all by myself. You sit on the couch and watch! "
Because he is a good sport, my H tried some essential oils a c/w gave him that she said would "cure" his snoring. How well did they work? He slept on the couch, if that gives you an idea. LOL (When she gave them to him, she said, "I just do this for family and friends. I don't make any money. Unless someone signs up under me...." and he said "How is that NOT a pyramid scheme?" lolol. We were picturing the scene from the office with Michael and the phone cards.) In Young Living's defense, they didn't smell bad. My bedroom smelled kind of like an Aveda salon.
Should I put rice cereal in my 2mo old's bottle? She doesn't seem satisfied and isn't STTN!!!
Cue a bunch of, I did it! Totally fine! LO is happy and healthy and perfect! People are born with food allergies and they're never the result of any of this, like autism!
I may or may not have kept my mouth shut. SO MUCH STUPID.
I hate this. I was so tired of people telling me DD would magically sleep if we just gave her rice cereal. a. It's not safe, b. it's not healthy for a 6-week old, c. she doesn't have reflux or a reason the doctor would say to do it, d. once we DID give her cereal and other solid foods, she was still a shitty sleeper, and e. how are you supposed to get rice cereal into your boobs, because I'm not wasting pumped milk on an old wives' tale?
DD didn't spend the night at my ILs until she was well past nursing/bottles partly for this reason. I didn't trust MIL not to try it with "just a little cereal" then tell me how she slept all night there.
