J was getting one of those right under her lip and on her chin. I just tried to be more diligent of keeping the area dry and letting it breathe to heal. It went away in a day or so.
Blb got this all the time. I actually used to put my "universal nipple ointment" on it that I had leftover from when I had thrush in my breast. Id also do eucerine.

This bkb had the same issue. Cleared it up and it's safe if they eat some.
i don't know why I never thought of putting the stuff I would pout on her butt for a diaper rash, it is basically the same thing. Going to try and note this for next time.
Keeping it dry+coconut oil worked for us. I would just check the ingredients on the diaper cream before using. It sounds like yours is fine, but some shouldn't be ingested.
H is working on a hard core rash under his chin/throat and occasionally it makes its nasty way to his face. Things we've tried that have made absolutely no difference: coconut oil (this is what I use normally), aveeno eczema baby lotion (doctor recommended), aquafor (also doctor recommended).
Eucerine baby eczema cream helps a bit. Also keeping him sans bib and just changing his clothing a lot helps. The bib doesn't let his chin air out. It's so bad right now we're going back in for something stronger.he itches it, it is hot, and spread up his face right now, down his neck to his chest (where his chins rest lol)
I'm hoping it isn't yeast because it gets better at night when he isn't drooling. We've also noticed if B's beard touches him insta rash so I think his skin is super sensitive.
Poor babies! I remember this with G for a period of time. A is moving in the direction of becoming a super drooler so we might be needing some of these remedies soon.
