Clarks used to make a leather one that isn't the spa one with a nice arch support. I have some boring black O'Neil ones that have strong arches too. My Podiatrist recommended those uglly Fit Flops which are heinous, but comfortable. I got a pair, but they only make it to our backyard for the pool. Check places like The Walking Store for options.
Lurker here but I saw these flip flops at Whole Foods once - kicking myself I did not buy them. They were called Feel Goodz and were just basic black rubber flip flops but so comfortable. I think the ones I tried were the "Slimz"
A friend recommended Olukai brand to me. The least offensive were the Hulali - but I found them on sale. They are kinda pricey otherwise (for flip flops). But wow are they comfortable. Highly recommended.
I have some teva flip flops I really like - they are super simple so IMO so they don't look like "hey, I have bad feet and need arch support", they just look like regular flip flops. they are really comfortable and I could walk around forever in them. similar to this www.teva.com/womens-mush-adapto-fashion-flip-flops/4196,default,pd.html?dwvar_4196_color=RED&start=6&cgid=women-flip-flops
(mine have a thinner strap, but the base of the sandal is the same)
ETA: were you looking for ones to wear with a nice outfit, or just regular summer flip flops?
