All of a sudden my eyelids seem like they're puffy and kind of swollen. They've also been sore lately. Add to this, right under my eye in the corner the skin got super dry, almost scaly looking. No matter how much moisturizer/under eye cream I use.
I had switched eye makeup remover wipes a while ago but nothing else has changed. I switched back from those now and back to my original remover.
But, now I don't know what to do to make it feel better and go back to normal? Should I stop putting makeup on it all together for a while? Should I go to my derm? Today the crease of one of my lids feels raw
Is there anything else I can put on it to make it feel better?

InBetweenDays - I don't have allergies, I really am wondering if it's from the eye makeup remover.
@uwhuskygirl - Yea, I've definitely stopped wearing eye makeup for now. Hopefully it will heal. I don't think it's a sty, since it's on both eyes (one worse than the other), but I could definitely be wrong.
I have an appointment with my specialist next Monday and I may just kind of run it by him, if it hasn't improved.
Last night I put a cold compress on it for a bit, then took it off, then back on for quite a wile. It actually felt a bit better and the swelling did seem to go down. I also put baby oil on the dry skin areas and it actually felt great. Fingers crossed it will be on the mend.
When I would get styes they would also start with a really puffy, red lid. One time it was actually cellulitis.
You could see if it improves with warm compresses (uncooked rice in a clean sock heated up in the microwave) and lid scrubs with baby shampoo.
Are they itchy at all?
No, not itchy. They just are puffy and red. I'll try the warm compress tonight. I've washed all of my makeup brushes and beauty blender so I don't think it's from that (I was them all every Sunday).baby shampoo is a good idea I'll do that, too. Thanks!

What she said. Also, might be time to spritz your eye shadows with rubbing alcohol and switch out your mascara if it's old.
I had a bad patch of scaly skin (my doc called it a patch of dandruff, LOL) on my eyelid once, and I had to wash my eyelid with Head and Shoulders for a while. It worked.
If it gets worse or doesn't go away in a couple days, though, go to your PCP.

Good idea to spritz my shadows with rubbing alcohol, I'll do that. Thanks! I have TONS of palette's but this is probably something they could all use. I definitely don't have old mascara - I go through that stuff like crazy and am really good about tossing out the old.
You know what's super weird that you bring the dandruff thing up because I have a dandruff thing going on and I'm on prescription shampoo for it - I have a derm appointment in 2 weeks, maybe I'll bring it up to her and just get her thoughts.
I woke up this morning and it seems like I'm getting sick. Hopefully all of this isn't connected in some weird way. Ugh.
I turned 30 last year and all of this weird stuff is happening now.
Thanks, ladies for all of your help! I appreciate it!

Ain't that just the BEST?! I think I had rosacea since high school but no one ever really noticed it since I just had "rosy" cheeks. But I turned 30 and POOF "ROSACEA" with bumpies and stuff.
Just wait until your metabolism and body starts realizing you're thirty
