Running and I usually don't get along. It's not my favorite thing to do. Mosty I feel great when I'm done and that's what I love about running. I'm not very fast... but I'm working on it.
I'm trying to have better self-talk (Thanks FMLB!!!) when I run. Today I ran six miles. I started out slow and slowly built from there. My new running mantra is "I am light and I am fast". I try to shift into this mantra when I feel myself start to kind of crumple in my running.
I ended up feeling so great at the end of my run, I also beat my husband, and I really think trying to change my self-talk is really helping!
