How's everyone doing? Successes? Challenges?
I am down a total of 6.2 lbs since the beginning of the year! I finally saw a big drop on the scale and feel that my eating & exercise habits are now being accurately reflected.
Not so good today. My social anxiety came out today at the gym. The gym I go to is small considering. The workout area is two rooms, both the size of what you might find at a hotel. So when I came in there were 3 new women. My brain started freaking out, what if I have to wait to use a machine or someone needs to use the one I'm on, what if there aren't any mats left, what happens if I go into the locker room and all the showers are being used (3 showers) and I just couldn't concentrate on my workout. I did 2 sets of abs, and 1min of planking and I had to leave. My food intake today hasn't been bad though, so I'm proud of that.
Eating has been pretty darn good. My lunches especially! I've been getting into using my new exercise ball I got for Christmas. I've failed doing other things... Bad!

HoneySpider - I always feel like I can get a good amount of food within my macros at Qdoba/Chipotle, Panera, etc.
Anywhere I can get them to add protein to a salad is good too - salmon, chicken, etc. A quality salad + meat or fish tastes good with just balsamic vinegar.
I do my "official" weigh ins on Friday- as of today though, the scale hasn't budged since my last weigh in, which is annoying. I have 3.5 more pounds to lose for my diet bet, and I really want to make it. I've been sticking to my calories too, which is frustrating me even more. I keep trying to tell myself that at least it isn't going up! Sometimes my body will hold onto the weight and then I'll have a big loss, so I'm hoping that's what's happening here. I have Zumba tonight too, so I feel good about that.
Also my BFF called me last weekend to tell me she's engaged and asked me to be her MOH- so now I have even more motivation to lose the weight!

We ate at Au Bon Pain today and I did the make your own salad option which was pretty good. There's a Chipotle right across from it so I might have to look into that for our next lunch date.
For chain places, Panera or Subway are my go-to's. If I'm going to a sit down place, I like Applebee's, Red Lobster or Longhorn Steakhouse. Oh, and I can usually do ok at Moe's
For local places, there's a great Thai restaurant down the road from me, and I can always find something there that seems reasonable healthy. I also think Chinese food is pretty easy to customize and keep somewhat healthy.

I've done WW for so long that if I go out to eat I just try to find the find a healthy item on the menu, try to get veggies or a baked potato instead of fries or rice.

I'm within 10 lbs of my pee-pg weight! I have somehow managed to exercise every day (including 4 runs since last thurs). Diet wise...it's not horrible but I'm not keeping track since it's always "I have 5 min to eat, let's get something (already cooked) fast"
I'm getting much better with my eating and working out. I've been eating 80% clean. I've been getting a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week.
I am starting to feel pretty darn good. I have more energy.

jjwritergirl- we have ZERO routine! I have tried but it's not realistic yet. We'll get there. But, getting outside is a must; otherwise, I tend to get down and go nuts.
jjwritergirl no. I bring all my food with me to work. I also keep a Lara bar in my pocket so if we are busy I have something to eat that is a better choice then fast food. DH is starting to complain less about the cleaner meals I am making. He really enjoyed the chili I made today.
I'm really missing my wine though. Only 19 more days to reach my wineless goal lol.
I avoided RL for months because at a visit last year I choked on one. We just went back over winter break for the first time in a long time. Then I only ate like one or one and a half.
Been tracking every weekday on MFP and hitting my step goal most days. I had 60,000 steps for the last 7 days, so just 10k short of my 70,000 weekly goal. I made frosted sugar cookies for work, and I only had two out of the batch. That is good because I had eaten pretty much every single extra cookie at Christmas time.
Today is CD1 so now I want to eat all the chocolate and drink all the Dew. I will settle for one extra Dew tonight and an orange creamsicle (though I really really want chocolate but have none in the house).

I haven't been doing as great this week. I've been having donuts as a snack at night, haha. Seriously though, I checked the label and they DO fit into my carb guidelines, but really, we just shouldn't have bought them. I also had a high reading for lunch today (was experimenting with getting a teriyaki chicken bowl that I haven't had in forever.. nope! Bad idea!) and then proceeded to have some ice cream at an event that was going on at my work today (although I was "good" and didn't put as much chocolate/sprinkles on as I would have liked!). Tomorrow we have a pizza lunch/meeting so I decided I don't want to starve myself and I'm going to have 2 pieces unless they have something non-carbs on the side. I probably won't test anyways because I'll be stuck in this meeting. Sigh. Not to mention I haven't been super active because I've been so damn tired. I purposely didn't change into PJs when I got home so I can maybe motivate myself to walk after dinner tonight. Other than that lunch number, they've all been good though, so I just need to keep myself on track and stop straying! I'm measuring a week behind now so hopefully next week I'm not like a week ahead or something, haha.
Well, I have lost 4 lbs since Jan 5, so that is something. But I haven't been doing too well sticking to my diet and I haven't worked out at all. I really need to get myself in gear!

Woot, I kept myself motivated enough to walk tonight Only did 15 min though (wanted to do 20) because I was getting a slight pain in my side, but it's better than nothing!

I'm jumping in a few days late :-)
I'm down about 4 pounds since the beginning of the year! Christmas plus lots of eating out at work with no exercise has been a bad combo.
Luckily I'm back on track - I do morning workouts with some friends (circuit raining) 3 days a week, and I teach Zumba 3 days a week, so the scale should keep moving down.
I'll be eating out every day this week since we have a work visitor but I'm going to try & stick to light apps, mezze platters, etc. so hopefully I'll at least maintain this week!!
