I have a jar my BFF gave me years ago that says "girl's night out fund" and I throw it in there. We wrap it up every so often and stick it in the bank. Never really use it for anything special.
We have a big water jug that it goes into. We usually leave it alone until we get a decent amount in there. Last time, we had almost a grand in change.
I try to actually use it. Sonic's happy hour is a good opportunity for that. I have no clue what DH does with his, although he usually has less than a dollar in change on the kitchen counter, next to his wallet and keys.
panicked That is awesome! I am hoping whenever we decide to redeem our change it can be something like this!
We use a piggy banks. I collected them quite a while ago and just can't part with them. So all change goes into them. When one is full, I put it somewhere then start the next pig haha! We have never cashed it out yet, probably won't until our big trip next year! I love change!
We've been saving ours until the bank is full then I roll it. The money currently goes straight into our debt. Once that's done it will go into our savings for a future trip.
I try to use my change. My H empties his pocket change into a big metal tin. I don't know what to do with it, and so it just sits there. I should take it to the bank at some point.
We put it in a jar. The quarters we use for laundry. The rest we save up and use for gas when we go on vacation. It's usually enough for a tank or 2 of gas.
We don't have much change because we rarely carry cash. Any change goes into a reusable water bottle and then we grab it when we are heading downtown to use for parking meters.
My hubby got me a piggy bank. He is ALWAYS leaving change all over the house. I like a clean house so it all goes in my piggy bank I'm curious as to how much I have in there. Ha! It's an actual pig with a crown. It lives in my closet.
I have a bank that looks like a mailbox (the blue kind that are in corners). I put it in the slot. I lost the key and it's almost full, so I may have to pick the lock to empty it.

I almost never use cash. If I have some at work it goes in my desk drawer (candy emergency fund). If I get it while out I'll leave some in the car and put some in a jar in the house.
We throw it in a glass water jug. We also don't use cash that often so it doesn't accumulate very quickly. When we moved we cashed it in and had almost $300, but that was from 4 years of saving it.
I keep about a dollar worth in my car in case I need it for parking or something, and the rest of it goes into a mason jar we have sitting in our living room.
