So I just noticed the score on Canada's scoreboard and sorry, that's not a real hockey score. Points docked for inaccuracy.
I'm Canadian and on the scoreboard in our rink, which is set up like that one, the top numbers are for shots on goal, bottom numbers for score. So the score is actually 2-0 for the Guest. Why you would put the home team (presumably Canada) down 2-0 is silly. We should be up 2-0!
Because I am over invested, I looked into it further.
The Miss Belgium website lists Miss Belgium, Miss Belgium World, and Miss Belgium Universe as 3 separate positions. The lady I posted holds the first position while the other holds the second two.

The more you know! *inserts shooting star*
So one goes on to Miss World, the other to Miss Universe? Or...not?
That is so complicated. Belgians are ALL ABOUT THE COMPLICATIONS.
eta: btw Vespasia even their Eurovision entry is complicated -- can't just be the most popular act, has to alternate annually between Flemish and Walloon entries. HAS TO.
I had close to 80 notifications for this thread. When I saw the number, I was scared I posted a naked series somewhere but then realized it wouldn't get that many likes.
Your genius ploy of getting your like numbers to match your post count is working.
If you ignore the fact that they used a variegated yarn this looks like it would be easy enough to modify (remove a stitch between each repeat to add an extra one) for the top. You can see it better in some of the projects done in better suited yarns: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/best-friend-socks

No problem. Although in the interest of full disclosure I did stop looking after only going through 10% of the lace sock options. There might be an exact match out there.

damn you Cicero--I've added to my pile of sock patterns. Again.
You're welcome. Although maybe I should be damning/thanking Mesh as well. I found them on a search for her. Thank goodness my New Years resolution was to only knit for people I like as much as myself. I might actually find the time to make some.
For some reason this strikes me as French; wish I could see the detailing on the front of the skirt better (coats of arms? or just pretty colors) But then she could have hijacked Canada's wig and made this more clear.
Also, is it bad that I keep thinking that Canada does not somehow include an, ahem, beaver? And I've had this stuck in my head all day:
