I plan to wear this dress to a wedding in early April (in the Midwest). It can be anywhere from 30-70 degrees, but I expect it will be around 50. No leaves on trees yet, might as well still be winter.
Please help me accessorize! I don't think this necklace matches. Should I do gold jewelry, no necklace at all? I don't have plain black pumps, but I do have some peeptoe black shoes.
I'd go with the black shoes for versatility - skip the belt. Gold jewelry would looks really Nice imo - I'd go with a short, delicate necklace and non-dangly earrings.

I think I'd do a necklace that's shorter (doesn't go over the dress) and fun earrings (although not giant). Unless the belt is necessary for the shape I'd skip it or replace with a ribbon and then do nude or champagne heels to elongate your legs.
Thanks for your replies! I'll have to try on the dress again without the belt and different jewelry. I always get stumped when it comes to the accessories.
I like the idea of a colored shoe to make it look less... Corporate. Also second gold jewelry but I'd wear a bigger short necklace and smaller earrings.
I'll post a new pic with my final outfit when I decide . Thanks for the help. I'm thinking I'll skip the necklace. I might have a wide belt that could work, but if not I'll probably go without a belt. My new black pumps will work better than the ones in the pic - the new ones have a higher heel.
Would you be willing to hem the dress? I like the pattern, but its too long on you. I think it would make a massive difference if you hemmed it to the knee, or even right above.
Then I'd add black tights if its cold, with black pumps. If its 70, I'd go bare legged with the black pumps. Bold earrings, hair pulled back (because if you have long hair, I think if you wore it down, it would be too much with the pattern of the dress. If you have short hair, then wear it how you want!), and a fun bracelet or ring.
