Since it's been established by my toenail post that I have gross feet, I might as well come all the way out and admit how dry and scaly my feet have become in the past couple months. I blame the birkenstock cork sole.
Anyway, if you did the baby foot peel, anything I should know to make it work best other than what's on the instructions?
I forget who did it here and posted a long thread, I want to say it was Sue Sue but I don't know her tag. I couldn't find it on search but I'm on my phone.
Soak your feet for 30 minutes before applying. Soak your feet daily to increase peeling. I've done it 3 times and had best results from doing the above.
Since we're asking questions: does it really mess up your nail polish? I have it sitting in my bathroom closet, but every time I think to use it, I've just given myself a new pedicure.
I was going to, then read somewhere that you shouldn't do it while nursing. No idea why or if it's just a CYA statement, but I was too lazy to call my doc and check. I'll do it when I finally wean DS2.

It has glycolic and lactic acid which are AHA's and are safe during pregnancy so I would think they'd be OK during breastfeeding
I did it and it was great. It did not mess up my nail polish bluetopaz. The peeling stage was icky so I would not rec this during sandal season. I did it in October and I will probably do it in the spring again. I still use a foot file thing, but my feet are much better.
Oh, I have a foot cream that would be awesome to maintain the softness, I bet. Gold Bond ultimate softening foot cream. When I was good about using it, I had pedicurists comment on how soft my feet were.
And then they gave me a toenail fungus and I stopped taking care of my feet, lol.
sarahbear, how long did you soak your feet on the subsequent days?
@cse1960, why two? Does it not work well enough with just one?
Also, should I go sockless while I'm in the process or are socks OK, you know, to hide the grossness.
I'd soak them about 15 to 20 min. And I waited until I saw signs of peeling before I started. The first time I didn't do this and I noticed better results by soaking. It wasn't possible every day, but I tried.

Mine did.
And, the peeling was magnificent. Don't do it when you plan to wear sandals in the next week or two.
