Just a typical day here. Nothing too exciting to report.
Oh, other than the fact that I recently realized that you can roast a while chicken in a crock pot and it's super good. The skin doesn't get crispy like in the oven, but I usually finish it off in the oven. The chicken meat stays really tender. That's pretty much changed dinner around here.
We had such a nice weekend. It was gorgeous and I spent a lot if time outside with Blb. H had a horrific day on Friday so my stomach is already kind of in knots over what it will be like today.
I'm visiting an acupuncture and Chinese medicine clinic this afternoon. I'm very skeptical about it but thought it would be interesting to check out.

I loved the gorgeous weather over the weekend. H and I decided to throw a small SB49 party, since our regular party hosts are going to AZ and there aren't any other tempting options in the Northend. I'm going to go buy a few Seahawks party supplies after work, and H is supposed to start menu planning.
The only not so awesome thing that happened was this morning when I was walking Conan. When I was crossing a sidestreet that usually doesn't get much traffic (and after checking both ways), an Audi came speeding around the corner and almost hit us. Then the guy rolled his window down and yelled at me in a real sexist patronizing manner. Douche!

ilovebed What happened with your hubs on Friday? Is everything okay??
@maddawg228 What a douchenozzle! Sorry you guys had to deal with that, but glad you're okay! Hopefully that guy gets some karmic justice this morning.
Today is C's first day back at daycare in a week and a half. I'm really glad to have her healthy (finally) and everyone back on their normal schedules.
Today was also my first day commuting in my new car! She's pretty, but needs more Giants gear. I'll take care of that this weekend
Saturday we both had dentist appointments and then hit the Theo factory after (that's how you properly celebrate good dentist reports, right?) I managed to walk out only spending $66 and $40 of that was for some birthday gifts. Unfortunately, all the weird neck angles with the jaw hanging open at the dentist aggravated my neck and gave me the WORST MIGRAINE for the rest of the night. Moving my head slightly made my eye feel like it would burst out of the socket. Sunday, I had my annual birthday tea with my sister and that was lovely. H and I went for a walk in the evening and made it about 2/3 of our usual route but I limped the last block home as my SI joint got angry. AF showed up right as I was getting ready for bed. The SI was still angry so I'd just about fall asleep and then it would protest, wake me up and then bladder would think, "oh! we just woke up, that means we need to pee, right?" No bladder. Every 10 -20 minutes for like 2 hours.
This morning I'm hobbling, or zombie foot dragging as my friend is calling it. AF-induced low back pain plus a FURIOUS SI joint. HOW am I supposed to get in walking shape for France? It's been 6 months officially now since that effing accident..and 6 more to France.

Good morning. I felt like poop all day Friday and a little bit of Saturday, but got through it and had a great, relaxing weekend. Tman went to D's birthday party and said it was an awesome party, so well done kwpnjumper55.
We tried a new church yesterday that we really liked, but it's 25 minutes away.
Tman is really worried about his dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon to get two baby teeth pulled. I've tried telling him it's no big deal, but he's concerned and that makes me sad. In two days, though, it will be a memory.
Tman also finishes his first quarter at his new school this week. I feel so fortunate and blessed to be able to have him in this school. It's been great for him.
Busy busy Monday for me! Already counting down the days until we can head back to AZ It was a very productive week last week (will post pictures soon) and I'm so happy that it's all done
Oh man I'm so tired. Our stupid alarm was beeping to tell us low battery. This happened like every 3 hours. I'm having a seriously hard time keeping my eyes open this morning. I have a ton of meetings and phone screens to do. UGH!
Long, busy weekend. Including getting hit by an uninsured driver. Work is crazy this week and taking my car in is not exactly what I was hoping to do. This morning I was running late, firgit my ID to get me into court... It's been quite a Monday.
I got about a good solid 90minutes of sleep last night. J was all out of sorts and I thought it was just because she wasn't getting a bottle (she eats far too much at night for her age) so I let her cry it out. It lasted from 8 until 11:30, then every 45 minutes from there. Only to find out that no she wasn't hungry she was sick and not feeling good. Huge mom fail! She is still pretty miserable today and her nose is running like a faucet.
We went out for a walk just so I could attempt to wake up a little. Also the saggy hound peed in her bed. I washed everything but it still stinks and thats driving me nuts. I'm ready for the weekend again.

dana86 If it makes you feel any better, hubs let C cry for so long this morning (he thought she was just fussing) that by the time he got in there to get her dressed for the day she was having a full-on meltdown. He ended up shoving a bottle in her mouth with her onesie only half-on. It was ridiculous.
I had a giant burger and a root beer float for lunch.
BIG MISTAKE.
I'm not following what the big mistake was. Was it that you only had 1 root beer float?
Thats the kind of meal that afterwards you just want to sit and relax. Was the big mistake planning things to get done after? Because like fiddles said, besides only having 1 root beer float I don't see the mistake? lol
niq the sugar crash from something like that at lunch is no joke. I swear all my CWs can munch on sugary stuff all day and be fine. I wind up with a raging headache. Life isn't fair.
I had the day off for something that got postponed, so instead of taking it off the calendar and going to work like a responsible adult, I went skiing with a girlfriend. The snow sucked but it was sooooo nice up there. I got sunburned right through my layers of SPF. But now that we've enjoyed our beach party on the mountain, it needs to freaking snow up there. A lot.
I'm SO tired. H usually drives home if he and I go skiing and I sleep most of the way. I could barely stay awake. I should probably make some dinner but my eyes won't stay open.
