Today I am WFHing. I am up early to register for swim lessons, so I might start working early. I want to go back to sleep, but I can't. I really need sleep so I am not grouchy.
Today's my first day back from maternity leave and it's currently 9 degrees. I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow to cuddle up with the babies, otherwise I'll work from home.

Sick day here I posted that DS had a fever fri/sat and that it broke yesterday. It did but it came back yesterday afternoon! This is so bizarre to me. So I'm home with him today and hopefully we will get in to the dr.
Someone just posted an article on Facebook about how coconut oil is a miracle toothpaste
Ds2 was up 5 times last night. Thankfully we went grocery shopping yesterday so I don't have to brave the pre-blizzard crowds in an exhausted stupor.
My knuckles are cracked and bleeding but all the handwashing all weekend was worth it because I think we're in the clear from catching ds1's stomach bug.

The person who won one of my ebay auctions just messaged me "Are these X or Y? I need X." Um, how about you figure that out before you win the auction? WTF? Know I don't know if she is going to pay or not.
M is at such a fun age. I want to hang out with him all the time. He's so obsessed with Biscuit. I think his first crawling experience will be to chase the dog.

My timehop just reminded me that today is 4 years since my mom was mugged and had her arm broken, the first in a series of horrible events that made 2011 the worst year we've ever had. I am grateful that we survived it and for how far we have come, but man that sucked.
Of course, DH is working through DS' sickness and snowmageddon. Thankfully, one of my friends works retail and only is working this afternoon/evening and was willing to hang out with DS for a bit. I'm here at work early and will work until noon to go and relieve her.
So far today took DD to daycare, went to the insurance office to turn in reimbursement forms, made a return at 2 stores and now enjoying a free Starbucks latte :-)
Have to pick up DD in 2 hours so enjoying the peace.
I feel like crud. I must have had a fever break bc I woke up and my tank was soaked. I go back to work next week and FIL is watching babies so today he's coming over to see how I do everything. I'm hoping he doesn't stay all day and I can nap. I normally sleep till 8 when the babies get up but need to now be in the habit of waking earlier. Hopefully tonight I get some rest.
H has the stomach bug now and I spent hours in the ER with E last night. Her hands kept turning blue random times during the day andnshe started doing this thing where she was sort of gurgling and turned bright red. Almost like she was having a seizure But it appeared she was controlling it. She has some sort of a virus and they said if she isn't better in 48 hrs or her fever gets higher to take her in. Uh, yeah, we will have 3 feet of snow tomorrow. I don't think that's going to happen.

Fuckkk. I drove down to ct tonight for a 1:30 client meeting and the news is basically telling everyone in NYC to be in their homes by 1. If I don't get out of here by 1, I may not make it home. If I don't stay, I will have wasted a lot of time and company money to come down here for nothing. I'm hoping my boss tells me to leave ASAP. Oh and this client meeting "could make or break my promotion" so no pressure or anything.

We helped friends move over the weekend- I am insanely jealous of the 3 way mirror in the walk in closet and walk in pantry.
I helped purge a bunch of stuff that was to be sent to goodwill. My friends MIL went through all of it and saw all the nwt clothes that she had gifted that were in the giveaway pile. I'm glad I left before that went down.

OMG no!! A million hugs and a huge box of Godiva! I sure hope things turn around soon!!
@awinter, that sounds scary. I hope she feels better today.
Willis Jackson, M doesn't have school today either, and it might make me crazy.
A has a two hr delay, even though there appears to be no snow. It is a good thing though, because she is still sound asleep, and on a normal day we would have just left for school.

Baby woke up at 3 am, standing and crying in her crib. Temp of 99.4. She took an hour to get back to sleep. We gave her a little Tylenol. She also passed a ton of gas and finally settled so I'm not sure what the main reason for the wakeup was. I was rocking her to sleep and since I'm sick, I CAN'T stop coughing which is just annoying. For some reason it doesn't seem to bother her as she is fast asleep next to me. Glad we have her 9 month appointment today. I'm hoping this was just a fluke and she doesn't have an EI or a fever.
Sounds like lots of sickies today. J was feverish and kind of pukey yesterday and today he has a fever of at least 102(I had to stop since he was fighting me) and just seems to be in pain. H and I almost had a throw down over who would stay home. Neither of us wanted to work today.

I got a crick in my neck Thursday night from sleeping. OMG it's worse today. I basically woke up at 4am in a ton of pain and can only sleep in 1 position with my head just the right way.
OMG I don't think an elephant could have been louder than DH getting ready for work this morning. He woke me up at 5:30, looking for a shirt in the closet next to my head, using our bathroom multiple times, slamming the sock drawer shut. He woke DS up at 6:30 (over an hour early) by stomping around the house coughing incessantly. Use a cough drop dude! JFC. I tried unsuccessfully to get DS to go back to sleep in our bed. DS kept asking me "dada ok? Dada sick? Dada cough." I know little man, I know.
