1. How far along are you this week? 36 + 2 2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? It's getting real! Alternating between nesting and needing to lay down. 3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? We tried for 13 months, with one miscarriage and 2 rounds of IUI . I'm really grateful for this pregnancy . 4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? No pets. My cat lives with my mom since my husband is severely allergic.
I didn't know yet in Kiawah, but it was a conversation with Boston Lauren that prompted me to test when I got home.
I had not a clue going into the weekend because I had just had what I thought was a super light super short early period like 1.5 weeks before. I recall being relieved I wouldn't have my period at kiawah because it had randomly showed up early.
Well, a big congrats!!! How are you feeling?
Thanks!
I actually feel pretty good, just peeing all the time and a bit more tired than usual and running a little bit slower than usual. Oh and I seemed to have gained a cup size which I need like a hole in the head. No MS or food aversions or super scent which has made me really nervous that something was wrong, but I had an u/s two weeks ago and everything looked great, so I'm slowly feeling more confident and excited.
3. This was a huge surprise. DD#1 required three rounds of IUI's and Clomid due to MFI. We got pregnant this time 6 months post partum on our own.
4. No, sadly we had to rehome our dog after DD. He was way too aggressive with her and the day he hurt her looking for attention broke my heart. He is with our In-laws and we still see him but he is much happier and getting the love and attention we were failing to provide with a new baby.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for this week? I have my NT scan on Thursday. I can't wait to see the little babe, this will be my first ultrasound. And my ms seems to have returned and it sucks. I just want to feel normal and stop puking and dry heaving.
3. Were you trying or was this a surprise baby? If you were trying, for how long? It's complicated. I was trying when I was with DH and never got pregnant and then we split up. I now have a new BF and I ended up getting pregnant right away. Thankfully me and him have known each other for a long time but it wasn't exactly the way I wanted to start a new relationship. We are both happy and excited about it though.
4. Do you have any pets at home (bonus for PIP)? I have one cat.
2. It's snowing and my toddler is driving me crazy. I hope that Dh and him and can play at some point and I can have some peace. He has been waking up a ton at night, which he has never ever done, and I'm exhausted on top of already being 34 weeks.
Also, Target has the kick piano activity mat on sale so I scored that. I've wantd it since my son was an infant and I'm excited to finally get it! I also need to buy all of my pre-birth stuff as recommended by my midwife, EPO and red raspberry leaf tea plus all of my bfing supplies. It's getting real.
3. Thankfully we only had to try one cycle for both pregnancies. And with this one I knew I was pregnant instantly. Like if I said I could feel th sperm hit the egg it wouldn't be an exaggeration.
4. No pets yet but I grew up with dogs and cats do I'd like at least one as the kids get older.
1) 30 weeks tomorrow 2) just lots and lots of appts coming up, the 2nd week in FEB is so packed with classes and dr's appts. I'm glad my boss is so understanding so I can telework all of those days and not have to use leave. In some ways though all the appts are nice since we get to see our little girl on a weekly basis at the moment. 3) We were TTC for 2 years and went through infertility treatments to finally get pregnant 4) We have 2 dogs and a very spoiled cat that can do no wrong in my eyes.

1. 28 weeks
2. Had my GD test yesterday. Waiting anxiously for results.
3. We were trying and had been for about 11 months.
4. We have 3 cats and a dog. Our dog is a tiny, scruffy mutt who is the sweetest thing ever!
Sorry, I should have read further before posting. I was just shocked to see your name.
10 weeks? Shut up! So you knew in Kiawah?
I'm so excited for you!!!!!!!
