I did montessori for a year and then public for k through 12. Bachelors and masters at a state school. I did do an agri science program in high school in addition to my college prep classes.

Montessori for elementary Super Elite Fancy Private School for middle school Public School with a 1/3 dropout rate in the middle of Appalachia for high school
K-12 and grad school were public. I only ruined my streak with a private undergrad (that awarded me quite a bit in the way of grants and scholarships).
All public, in PG co (since I see it was discussed recently). My parents were both public school teachers and felt strongly I should go to public school.
This was by design for my brothers and me; that we would get the neighborhood elementary school experience then be transferred over to private schools for middle & upper school. One of the primary reasons my parents wanted the move *to* private was to provide us with a more diverse school experience -- the area we'd grown up in was notoriously lacking in diversity across socioeconomic, racial & religious lines.
An equal blend of home school, top ranking private, and rural WV public. Needless to say, it will take a lot to convince me to send my child to a public school. My experience there was dismal compared to home school and private.
