james bought me some Clinique skin care stuff for Christmas that I asked for. They told him if it didn't work out, I could return it. I have been using it for a month. I would say it's less than 10% gone. My face is pretty sensitive, so I gave it some time to adjust to this stuff, but I'm breaking out pretty bad. Is it too late to return? I think it was $75 which is a lot to me for skin care products - and if they make my skin break out, it's wasted. I'd like to exchange, see if they have something for more sensitive skin, not get a refund.
What type of skin do you generally have? Looking at what brands Macy's carries, unless you want to try different skin care from Clinique, I would recommend you try Clarins or Origins.
I used the Clinique cleansing system all through high school and college. I had pretty oily skin but their oily cleansing bar still could dry out pretty badly so I'd often switch between the oily bar and the gentle bar every other day. However, I couldn't use their lotion - it made me oilier and made me get zits.
I really liked the Clarins serum but it made me break out, too I do like their Cleansing Milk and while my skin liked their toner, the floral fragrance from the extracts bothered me. I use their water-free cleaner on nights when I'm too exhuasted to use my Clarisonic or I'm just feeling grimy midday and want a quick clean.
