I watched it..... The whole Debs/virginity storyline made me really uneasy. And the last episode, ugh. I hated how Lip handled it when Debbie told him. I hope someone at some point explains to her why that is not okay. Besides that whole thing... Franks freak out at the end cracked me up.
And Lip, wtf is he doing? He's such a jerk...why am I so hot for him?
Really? I don't think he's being that much of a dick. His intentions are good- he is just fucked up. I need Fiona's new guy to have a personality. Poor Debs.
Guys keep Discussing with me!!
He was such a jerk to Mandy when they were sleeping together, and really, the best thing he could've done for her was to stay away....he's not going to be monogamous with her at all, and he does have another women in his life regardless. But I do hope he is successful in driving away that woman beater though.
I'm wondering if the woman who is hitting on Fiona is actually with Steve, because he has to come back super soon.
So im guessing that Frank is moving back home now, right?
and the whole situation with Debs is going to be really bad.
Didn't it show in an episode with the lady hitting on her, her and Steve driving together?
I was wondering about this. it was the very end of last season, which they recapped at the start of this season. I want to go look at it now. I assume it is.
But- then why is Steve making it this big production?
Or it's the writers. She's going to get heavy with the musician guy and then in will walk steve back into her life.

This is what I assumed. But the new guy that she went to coffee with is HOT.

Am I the only one that thinks maybe Deb lied about the whole thing? (Just ripped the wrapper open, etc. but didn't actually do it.) That's probably just wishful thinking. And her party - if Frank's beer was so strong the guy at the bar passed out after a couple sips, how were all those kids still standing/dancing/going under the stairs with Carl?

I really dislike the rape/statutory rape plot line. That's why I'm hoping it's something else.
The chick "hitting on" Fiona is with Steve, she's the one that drove the car he was in last season when they stopped in front of the house. "Are you going in?"

I do enjoy Frank's storyline(s) this season.
Both my h and I thought she made it up- by why shout it from the front porch.
Because she was so obsessed with it making her "cool" and getting back with the "in crowd."

This part I wondered about too. he's the ONLY one to be affected like that? No, come on.... That's what I thought was going to happen - that after he passes out, they find that everyone else is getting overly f-cked up on the beer and that Frank put something -- God knows what -- in it.
I LOVED the end of the episode, though. With him going off on them and then the house exploding. Awesome.

But like with, with him or just some weird gangster-type thing.
Does Shameless grow on you? I watched the first few episodes a while ago and just wasn't into it.
I'm not sure...I can't remember. But I love William H. Macy and Joan Cusack, so I'm totally biased, even from the beginning. I think it's cleaver, with great acting and directing, and just overall, a great show.
Although I hated Kevin when he was on Reba playing Van, and now I love him. And I hated POTO so much, so I was shocked to see Emmy Rossum do such a good job.

Jalapeñomel - clearly I make up stories in my head that fit with what I want to happen (see my posts re: Deb in this thread) but I assumed that she was either a partner/boss of "Jack" but not romantically involved with him. She's probably his girlfriend though.

Yes, I think so. Last season especially was very heavy and serious and had some really amazing acting. I think the first season was a little more fun? I can't really remember. I think the actors in this show really do some of the best acting on television. Even the little boy Carl - they usually make him act like such a psycho/troublemaker, but last season he appeared so vulnerable in some scenes that it nearly broke my heart.
