Poor thing.
B starts crying when I start walking towards the bathroom, water temperature be damned. I don't know why she hates being bathed so much. She used to love it!
If it makes you feel by better, I forgot h was rinsing Theo in the shower and I flushed the toilet downstairs. All of a sudden I heard: "theo, get back here! Hey, (my name) I'm trying to wash his ass. Can you NOT use the water?"
I've been bathing the baby with me in the big tub- she loves it and could hang out for thirty minutes or more in there. So I'll wash her hair and body and then H will grab her to get her dried and dressed for bed while I finish washing my hair and face and whatnot. Of course she always cries when she gets moved to the towel, no matter how fast he goes. The other night he was like "I feel like I get the crappy part of this deal ..." Lol well yeah, obviously.
I used to love this when B was little.
I tried again about a month ago and even getting in with me didn't stop be from screaming her head off

My kid's a chronic tub shitter. Not a fat chance in hell I'm getting in there! lol He has showered with H a handful of times, but he's not a fan.
I would bring DS with my to shower maybe once a week to introduce it and he wasn't a fan. It took about 2 months, and suddenly the water on his back caused him to do a 180 and calmed him one day. It became the go to emergency, inconsolable for no reason, cure. When we went away at 12 months for the weekend I even told my mom if he wakes in the middle of the night and for whatever reason can't be calmed, hop in the shower with him.
It was then a life saver for a few months when he because super mobile and I needed to get ready for work (DH and I work opposite shifts), so I knew where he was etc. He sat on the floor of the tub and played. Plus he spent ages 7-18 months trying to climb out of the big bath for shuts and giggles. Once he learned to sit safely baths were a safe option again, but even now he gets the choice at night and he's 50-50.
