My shirt has this weird seam that runs right down the middle of the front. It has a hole about an inch long. I'm at work and just noticed as I parked the car. Shiiiittt.
I'd put a piece of tape over the staple (between staple & skin) otherwise I think it would scratch bug me & make me more likely to mess with it all day.

Oh also, so you feel better, I came home the other night and plopped on the couch and discovered ONLY THEN that I had a 2" hole in my inner left thigh of my jeans.
I got to work yesterday and realized there was an oil-based stain on my shirt that didn't come out when I washed it. It's especially nice looking when you have a giant belly that everyone's eyes gravitate toward. You have my sympathies.

Baby powder!
Put a nice, thick coat on the stain, let it sit for a couple days, then brush it off, dab the stain with some dish detergent, and wash.
I've had success getting oil stains out this way even after I've previously washed/dried the shirt.

Thank you!
I forgot--don't dry the shirt in the dryer when you do this. You won't be able to see the oil stain while the shirt is wet, so you don't want to set it any further. It might take 2 washes (that's the max it's ever taken me to get the stain gone entirely or light enough that I am cool wearing it).

I just added baby powder to my grocery list. I have so few maternity tops that are good for work, so I really want to salvage this if I can. Thanks for the tips!
