I currently have the following at work:
Hot/cold pack
Coffee mug
Insulated tumbler with straw and lid
Lotion
Meds (sudafed, cough drops, claratin, etc)
A collection of teas and honey
Two sweaters to layer with whatever I wore to work when the a/c gets too cold
Ear plugs and headphones
Work related books
Vitamins
Food (oatmeal, saltines, canned chili, tuna, soup, nuts, raisins, oatmeal cookies, chocolate at my desk; milk, juice, fresh fruits and veggies, etc in the fridge)

Makeup, inhaler, and other standard purse supplied travel in my purse.

I keep chap stick, band-aids, Advil, lotion, hair ties, bobby pins, safety pins, a few dollars and quarters, cloth to clean my glasses, gum, emergancy chocolate, a radio, mug, and sweater in my office.

I don't bring anything w/ me other than my purse and breakfast.

I take a large Sigg bottle of water with me every day. The water in the building tastes awful to me. I take a travel cup with coffee every morning also.

At work, I keep a chapstick, advil, granola bars, and a pocket mirror.

A fridge for storing my breakfast/lunch/drinks.
A microwave for heating up food.
A Barbie doll (she's related to my job--she's Eiffel Tower Barbie). I also want to get Watercolors Barbie that somebody posted about.
A curling iron/brush/hairspray (for rainy days when my hair falls on the way to work).

in addition to my lunch and morning coffee I carry with me each day:

water bottle, mints, ibuprofen, tissue, hand sanitizer, bobby pins, makeup, laptop and charger, almonds, umbrella, pocket mirror. everything stays packed in my work bag except for my laptop/charger. I work more out of the office than I do in the office, and I like to be prepared.

In my tote bag: honestly it's usually personal things like magazines, any specific bills that I need to pay, school work, occasionally makeup if I don't have time to do it at home and oh yes, my *planner*

In my lunch bag: tervis tumbler with lid, breakfast (apple & string cheese stick), mid-morning snack, and lunch if I don't buy school lunch

I'm a weirdo because I have ton of kitchen stuff in my office. No one else cleans the communal kitchen area so I gave up and bought my own stuff so I don't have to deal with the grossness.

coffee

shampoo/conditioner/facewash/towel (I once stayed out all night and showered at work the next day :S this is all leftover from that)
a Tardis USB port
a plant
