So 3 of my numbers were perfect, but my 1 hour was 171, which my dr felt was too close to the threshold (which I thought was 179?) so I HAVE TO RE-TAKE THE 3 HOUR!!!
I got here at 620 to make sure I'm first in line. I have lots of old people to compete with at the lab.

Oh NO! That three hour was the worst. All I can say is that having GD is not as bad as I expected, so if it turns out you have it or are borderline, it's much better to know. Both for your health and the health of the baby. That said, I hope you pass and don't have to deal with any of it!
Honestly I don't have the fight in me. My dr is pretty strict, and I'm not about to question her and piss her off. I have a family history of diabetes and I know she is just being cautious. Doesn't mean it doesn't suck though.

mr+ms I agree. Mine has been extremely well controlled with diet and I would have rather just tested for a week or so with a normal diet to see where the numbers were. I think the only downfall to this however is that the test is supposedly designed to predict what your body will do further along when the insulin needs increase. Testing for a week at say, 28 weeks, would only tell you if you have an issue at that time. Elevated numbers may indicate a future issue, but numbers may also be just fine at that point.
