Back to the doctor this morning with M. She was diagnosed with strep and scarlet fever last Thursday and has been on an antibiotic since. Yesterday when I went to give her a bath, I noticed a small rash on her chest and back. This morning when she woke up, she was covered HEAD TO TOE. It almost looks like measles. I'm hoping that it is just related to the strep and scarlet fever and maybe she just needs a stronger antibiotic or something. I feel so bad for her.
I ate a bagel AND a donut for breakfast. I'm a stress eater.
My kiddo got a full body rash after a week on antibiotics for scarlet fever. It was a reaction to the amoxicillin.
I brought up so something at work re: one of one of our clients, just as an alert, not realizing that it quickly escalated to the executive board, and today, we dropped them off as clients.
And while I think it's he right thing to do, I feel responsible and odd, like it was the whistle blower - knowing of course this would have surfaced eventually.
Except this has repercussions and I'm saddened of what that might look like at an individual level.
I'm sporting fingerless gloves today. Every part of me is fine except my hands are freezing.
I picked up some really cute shoes on clearance at Target for $8. I'm wearing them the first time today. They're comfortable, and I can't believe I got them so cheap. I've gotten several comments. They're not what I would consider my normal style but I tried them on and they look nice on my feet.
The first time I met MsBlake she had the most killer leather gloves, and ever since I think they're the most bad ass accessory.
except she could style a paper bag and it will look amazing, so...

LOL I'm rocking gray stretchy gloves from Target. I bought them last night on my way home because I couldn't stand my hands going numb mid-day!

Since I know you and how awesome you are, I'm going to guess you made the right decision. (kiss)

That's what the doctor said. Allergic to penicillin. She is on a Benadryl diet for the weekend and then, when her rash clears up, she will start a new antibiotic because the strep is not cleared up yet.
This rash is awful looking!
Hopefully she feels better soon. Ben's rash was almost gone within 2 days of Benadryl, and my doc had us finish the last doses of the amoxicillin while taking Benadryl.
That basically sums up my entire day. I had contractions all night and then this morning, and basically every other sign of labour, but everything has stopped. So now I'm just frustrated. I hate fake labour, lol.
