Has anyone gone to see this yet? Is it age appropriate for a 4 year old? I took our DD to see The Book of Life in fall and she did really well in the theater. It's so hard to tell sometimes if she will get bored with a movie or not.
My parents took our kids (3 and 7) a couple weeks ago. They both liked it. The 3-year-old still talks about it (apparently Paddington falls in the toilet) so she paid attention and it stuck with her.
Thank you, maybe we will give it a try. Sometimes it's just too damn expensive and I would rather wait for RedBox or NetFlix, but she really liked going to a theater to see a movie.
David LOVED it, he's 6. Most 4 y/o would be fine, I'm sure but we couldn't even take David to a full movie until 4 so this wouldn't have worked for him then. I think it would have been too slow or something.
I took my 3 and 4.5 year old and they liked it. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Dh also thought for a kids movie it had parts that were quite amusing.

It was SO good. I took two five year olds this afternoon. They loved it.
There are some darkly lit scenes and people with scowls as they talk (if that scares your kiddo - used to scare mine and she HATED Brave because of it). But those are only a few scenes.
We just saw it. Parts were cute. Parts were dark (like plot dark and in turn scary). There was a girl who started crying at one point. She was young, but I could understand.
I don't know. I'm kind of torn. I feel it could have been a lighter movie.
