They're discussing evidence and showing videos never shown before. Makes me sick. So glad the two who went to trial were convicted.
The police were reviewing video of the dorm, due to a broken/vandalized door, and that's when they found out he and teammates carried the victim into the dorm.
Yes it's totally awful and sickening. I'm so glad these videos came to light, even though it's disturbing to watch. Because you know so many football supporters would deny it happened.

I am also annoyed with the exploitative nature of 20/20 - we are live tweeting this and will share comments at the end. I don't see how that will be productive. I hope I'm wrong.
Kudos for that guys for being honest and telling the cops what he saw.

. I think they're hoping to spur conversation about it.
To be fair, they do that for most of the 20/20 episodes. It's not specific to this case.

Ahh I didn't know they always did that (I don't watch 20/20 often). I'm less irritated by it now.

now the defense is attacking one of the jurors for not disclosing that he was a victim of sexual assault.
funny side note but a friend sat on the defense attorney's trial once. She said she was never asked if she once dated and wanted to marry opposing counsel which she had.
The whole thing is disturbing. Another friend's whose daughter recently graduated from Vandy said it wouldn't have seemed unusual that they were carrying a passed out woman down the hall because people pass out all the time and their friends take care of them until they wake up.

I am surprised they didn't blur the simple roommate's face out, since if you know who her roommate is, you can pretty easily figure out who's the victim.
The video was so disturbing to watch and yet you feel like it should be plastered all over. This is what college rape looks like not victim blaming or giving these guys passes.

Absolutely horrific.
Where are we failing our kids that it's not only wrong to do this, but that passing it along and making jokes is just as bad. Why are we not telling our kids to stand up for the right thing.
It is so so troubling. You see it time and time and again where teens and young adults see nothing wrong with passing these types of pictures and videos around. This generation knows nothing of life without social media and instant gratification, and I really think it has numbed them in some ways.
orangeblossom so true. Even the statement that it wouldn't be a big deal to see people carrying someone passed out. It troubles me so much that so many young people are drinking to that level and rely on "friends" to make sure that they are ok. I get college drinking but these girls are finding out that these people are not your "friends".
