What's going on today? Tomorrow it's supposed to snow 8-12 inches here, so we're going to run some errands this afternoon. I also finally have a pair of riding boots! My mom found me a pair and gave it to me yesterday .
Not much going on. DH leaves for work in a few hours. I'm suppose to go out tonight with my bff since both our husbands are working but she hasn't contacted me back so at this point I am about to tell her to forget it.

We are meeting my cousin and his FI for lunch in a bit. Then probably going to Target and seeing if we can get our registry discount because I never got the coupon in the mail! We have gift cards so I want to go buy the remaining things that we actually need soon. I'm hoping they are able to do something in store instead of waiting for the coupon to finally get mailed!
My parents stopped by and we did a little more vacation planning for November. We decided on a ship as well. Problem is that it kinda hinges on TTC, which kinda sucks. I don't want to not schedule it and then not be PG, but I at the same time I really don't want to risk my family spending the money and possible loosing some money if we can't go after all.
I finally broke H down about getting a second puppy!!! Yay! He had wanted to wait until we found a new house with a bigger yard (but that could be a year away at the pace he's fixing up this house). Now the dilemma is do we get a puppy this summer, only to have to board 2 pups while we go on that vacation in November, or wait to get a puppy until after the vacation.
grover you are a teacher, right? I'd get the pup this summer so you can be home with him more when he needs to go out a lot, and then board him. I'm jealous! Puppies are the cutest.
Also, it is probably better to get him home and trained soon so you have a well-behaved dog before the baby comes, and not a tiny puppy. It would not be fun waking up all night for a crying puppy AND a crying baby!
I am doing nothing today except some light organizing and hopefully preparing our tax documents later. I think we'll play Wii and watch a movie tonight. I love quiet, boring weekends!
I am so bored. DH left for work and BFF and I decided to postpone our plans. I am so bored I am actually doing CMEs for my certification, which are really boring lol.
I worked all morning/afternoon. Now just at home. The weather is pouring rain and supposed to heavily snow overnight. I am so glad I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow!
I actually got up early this morning and cleaned my apartment. I feel so much better and more relaxed now that it's all neat and clean. It had been an embarrassingly long time since I've done a good deep clean. Then H and I went on a lunch date to Red Lobster, it was great! Now I'm vegging on the recliner watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Pretty nice little Saturday!
krystee Yep, a teacher. I'm home by 3:15 three days a week, and by 4:15 the other two days. Plus we have our next door neighbor walk Moo daily, so she'd also come by to give a new pup potty breaks until it can keep up on the longer walks. We're also hoping our luck holds out- Moo was trained to use the bell in under a week, and only had one accident that first month (and it was the first time pooping after we got him home!). He also slept consistently from 9:30 pm - 4:40ish am. LOL I probably just jinxed myself!
Oh, and I'm already at over 9,000 steps today and it's only 3 pm. This never happens on the weekends! I'm now glued to the couch for a while- pup is cuddling me but I'm also trying to prepare myself for having to shovel later. First major snowfall this season, and ABC just posted that the "least aggressive" model has 11.4 inches of snow hitting us.
We are working on random to do's around the house. Little stuff that needs replaced, tightened, adjusted, etc. The stuff you put off forever and ever but bothers you every time you walk past it.

H and I did some cleaning and relaxing today. We are headed to dinner with two other couples. Then depending on how late that goes, I may run to Target. I still have several weekend type errands to do and know tomorrow will get partially eaten up with a Super Bowl Party. Happy weekend, all!

Lunch was good with my cousin and his FI. They got us a baby gift and even paid for our meal! I will have to take them out sometime! Then we went and got a bunch of stuff from our registry that we still needed and got it all for free! The nice person at the service desk gave us the discount without the coupon. Then we used gift cards for it all! We went to Best Buy and also got a monitor (the 2nd one our desktop went out a while ago) with the remainder of the gift cards we had so for everything we only spent like $80 for like $300+ worth of stuff!
I have been tackling Mount Clothesius (the three-foot pile of clean, but not put away laundry that has been sitting in a basket for two weeks). I think I'm going to give up now and go get a Chipotle salad. The good news is our house is starting to look presentable again! We had boxes in every single room from rearranging various parts of our house. Now we're down to just two piles of boxes that will be put away by tomorrow. I feel like I can breathe again.
We finished our garage sale today. I was amazed how well we did! DH and I made just over $700 in the last two days. We still have another $240 in things 'sold' we are just waiting until we have cash in hand to count it. So amazing!!

bk1 I should send some stuff down there and have you sell it! My mom had a garage sale over the summer and didn't make much at all, and nothing on my stuff I wanted to try selling a lot of things before donating but apparently that won't work!
I've never really done a garage sale so I had no idea what to expect. We had lots of things that brought a bit more money at a time, like the old oven and dishwasher from our remodel. Extra light fixtures, different lawn equipment, etc. So nice to clear out the room from all those things!
I feel like Ive been so MIA. Busy season right now so I am working 6 days, 65/hrs a week. It is crazy busy, plus I have some new responsibilities so it gets intense at times. I lurk to try to keep up but it's not the same.
Update on me - Just started my 3rd tri this week. Had to retake my 3 hr glucose test (!). All of my numbers were below the cutoff, but one if then was only 8 pts below, and she thought that was too close for comfort. Idk. Whatever. I go this Thursday for results and my regular check up.
We went baby shopping last night. Got a car seat. We still have DDs strollers, and although we don't "love" any of them (well we do love the snap and go, but it's only short term), we didn't love anything more, so we just went the car seat route. Also got a mattress and some Aden + Anais blankets (those were the best with DD).
My niece is almost 3 weeks, and she's a doll. DD (4.5) loves her, it is so cute to see them together. She's such a little mommy already!
That's pretty much it! Going to Target today. Watching the super bowl tonight.
We gave the dog a bath yesterday and she is so soft now. I love it.
My grandmother is moving from her apartment to a senior apartment in a few weeks and her dining room table won't fit in the new place so she's giving it to us! It's only a few years old and much more modern than the one we have now. We went to check it out yesterday and will probably need to recover the chair seats at some point but I am excited.
My H is currently doing the grocery shopping for me and is going to for the rest of the pregnancy. Yay!
We have some stuff to do around the house today and are otherwise just hanging out and watching the Super Bowl later. Hoping baby stays put a few days at least because we are supposed to get a lot of snow today.

Today is a food cheat day for me since I made both of my diet bet weigh ins (4 week and month one of 6-month) Tomorrow I'll get back on track but today I eat! DH is currently making chocolate chip almond pancakes
I am going to the gym in a bit to offset some of the food I plan to eat...
