For you, what is being in a bad mood or being grumpy a symptom of? I have no reason for it. I get plenty of exercise, it's not PMS. I'm in such a bad mood, for no reason.

Usually if I can't figure out the reason something is subconsciously bothering me. It might be stress from work or financial issues. But if I can't figure it out I try to sleep it off. Things always seem better when I'm well rested.

If I'm grumpy, I'm usually tired, need me time, or need a date night/fun time out with adults. This is definitely more frequent in the winter, when we tend to spend most of our time hanging out indoors at home, so I'm thinking I should give vitamin D a try.
Sometimes just no reason at all--allow yourself the occasional short pity party for no apparent reason and then move on. But don't feel like you need to justify a bad mood with something rational.
