We don't have a whole lot in our bedroom. In fact, it's one watercolor painting that I bought years ago at an auction. It's a local artist, but beyond that, have no recollection of how much I spent. It hangs over my ironing board. But, most of the stuff we have hanging is personal/photos or local artists.
Ours were not expensive for sure. We have a print of an Adirondack photo. It was expensive to frame, but the print was cheap. It's this one (more expensive than I remembered): tinyurl.com/kyuef8u
the kids will be 3 and 5 this year, and we think they are old enough for the long trip, so we're taking them to the ADKs. Can't wait!
We have a cross-stitch of the "Love is Kind..." verses. And we have a framed caricature from our first anniversary. Seems so long ago! I think there is one more thing, but I am blanking on it.
I don't think you need anything expensive, just things that mean something to you.
