I posted last week that the 3 day potty training method didn't really work for us. We stuck with it though, and today (day 7) we only had one accident and she doesn't hold it forever anymore. The first few days she was peeing 2x a day total which was really freaking me out, but now she is back to every couple hours. After 8.5 years we are finally done with diapers!
Damn it, I'm losing my mind! Sometimes I will type things out but then decide to not hit "enter" and I just back out of the post. Couldn't remember if that's what happened with this or not. I'm only 31 you guys. I'M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS!
At least you know people pay attention to what you post
We got a new router. DH is trying to install it. Lol this man is not technologically savvy. More tantrums than a toddler. I should just take over but I'm busy eat pretzels.
I shared this on CEP but l will repeat here as well.
Blended frozen banana IS NOT the same as ice cream no matter what Pinterest tells you. No no no no no. Ice cream is so much better. A blended frozen banana is just that. A blended frozen banana.
Who would say this???
shit like this is why I quit Pinterest. That place is a den of lies.

But did you use a food processor? and add cocoa? because that shit is good.
I just arranged drop-in childcare for a day my dayhome will be closed in March (I think she's having a medical procedure, and she gave us over a month notice). Sigh. $80 down the drain, as we'll still pay her the full amount. And I know my daycare is cheap enough I shouldn't complain, but blah.

I just shared the a buzzfeed article 17 reasons not to vaccinate (or something like that). It's pictures of how bad the diseases are, so pro vac. Well, apparently people don't click the article cause I had a anti vaxer share the article thinking it was serious and another friend commenting that she can't believe I would post that.
It would not be MM to buy a fancy new auto-rocking RNP when we have a perfectly good old one, right?
I have contemplated impulse purchasing one every night since we've been home from the hospital while my half-asleep ass is leaning out of the bed attempting to rock that thing.
@mrsbecky, it's like when everyone said, "Oh, mashed cauliflower tastes like mashed potatoes!"
No, it does not. It tastes like mashed cauliflower. I like cauliflower, and it's not bad mashed with cheese and stuff, but it tastes like cauliflower. Not potatoes.
I've resisted clicking on my notifications since DS was born--I was checking from the app in the hospital, and only recently got back on a computer. So every time I visit I see an insane number waiting for me from when you all liked DS's birth announcement. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy every time I see it.
Buying appliances and light fixtures is more stressful than I thought it would be. I don't want to drop a lot of money on appliances that are going to break and I don't want to install light fixtures that I end up not liking.
Also, electrical work is more expensive than I thought it would be and wiring is really expensive.
I'm ready for the house projects to be done.
I've purchased almost everything for DS1's room and I am *so* excited to get it put together!

Doooooo it. I can't even tell you the things I bought on Amazon while nursing in the middle of the night. I'd always be surprised when the boxes came in 2 days later. And I don't regret a single purchase. Go for it!
Bas had an extra long bath tonight because we started early after he spilled 3 cups of water on himself at dinner. (Operation Open Cup is going well.)
Normally he does a little self-groping, but tonight he really went to town for a few minutes. It was awkward for me. Should I ... give him some privacy? Lol.
Lol, now that I know I'm having a boy I keep realizing he's going to spend so much time touching himself. DH is just like, duh, of course he will, boy parts are awesome. DD hasn't shown any interest in her girl parts yet.

LOL both of these things happened in my house this evening. He freaked out when he spilled the water and then lost his mind when I took his shirt off. Make up your mind kid. Wet shirt or no shirt?!
And yeah...he kept taking the washcloth to himself over and over and over again in the bath.
I had another PTA committee meeting tonight. This time for Go Green. There was one mom there who would not stop talking. I feel like we didn't acomplish half of what we needed to while being subjected to all of her ideas and opinions. It reminded me why I don't miss corporate America. There was always one like that in every meeting.
Plus it was at Panera and I didn't get potato soup in a bread bowl. I deserve a damn medal.

Eh, C has no more interest in his penis than his elbow as of yet. He'd much rather show off his belly button.

Do it!
I'm buying one because I want one upstairs and one downstairs.

We ran out of the tri-vi-sol for DD and they didn't have it at the store so we bought poly-vi-sol instead. It smells awful, and she hated it! She loved the old stuff, guess we'll be getting more of that. Bye bye $12.
