Tonight was so nice. J was a totally different baby now that the new antibiotics are working. He actually ate! He devoured chicken raviolis and willingly drank water.
I made invitations for his 1st birthday night. Where did my baby go?
Eh, C has no more interest in his penis than his elbow as of yet. He'd much rather show off his belly button.
Magic unicorn toddler! Lol. (But really, B loves touching himself in the bath but outside the bath and diaper changes he's fine. I assume that's partly because he doesn't have access.)
It would not be MM to buy a fancy new auto-rocking RNP when we have a perfectly good old one, right?
I have contemplated impulse purchasing one every night since we've been home from the hospital while my half-asleep ass is leaning out of the bed attempting to rock that thing.
If my loaner plain RnP becomes problematic, I am buying an auto RnP ASAP. I have no qualms about that. Sleep is IMPORTANT.
Our playroom is sunken, down one step. DH keeps calling it "downstairs" or he will go up the step to the kitchen and call it "upstairs." IT DRIVES ME INSANE.
Growing up he had a sunken family room and the whole family called/calls it "downstairs." No. No no no.
I keep telling him to stop saying it because I don't want my kids growing up and saying that and annoying their future SOs.
Normally he does a little self-groping, but tonight he really went to town for a few minutes. It was awkward for me. Should I ... give him some privacy? Lol.
I just ignore it. DS has been complaining to me, LOUDLY, that he's upset "penis is up! No up! Help mommy!" ...:-| I can't help you dude.
I've been very MM since P was born, anyway. I've only spent money on groceries and prescriptions. And we do have a Visa gift card...
Do it! Divide the price by the number of days you'll use it. It's not like you're buying a year's subscription to Baby Containment Device of the Month Club.

i justify stuff like this by thinking of the resale. if i pay $50 and can sell it later for $25, well, that is $25 well spent.

Does that mean I need this one instead of the cute puppy one?

this is a minor confession but one thing on the table would be 2 nights at Disney Beach Club and 3 at Vero Beach (no theme park tickets). It would just be very economical with our points (obviously we will be very flexible on dates at this point).
I ate frozen bananas blended with cocoa all the freaking time on the MSPI diet. I didn't try to convince myself that it was anything other than a sub-par imitation of ice cream, though...
But the cocoa avocado "milkshake" I made a few times was pretty freaking amazing. In hindsight, I assume that by that point I had forgotten what actual dairy products tasted like, and I was still pretty sleep-deprived, so I question my own judgment on this one.

I made dairy free chocolate chip. & avocado mousse last week. I buy the dairy free chocolate chips because they taste better.... Anyways that stuff was freaking incredible. I topped it with a dusting of cocoa powder. Holy good night that stuff was good.
