We're going to Chicago next weekend and staying downtown (W on West Adams). We'll have B with us, so some of our favorite restaurants no longer seem appropriate - definitely not kid-friendly. I really don't want to end up at the Rainforest Cafe or someshit.
Any recs for places to check out? It doesn't have to be fancy, but I'd like to try to have one nice-ish meal while we're there.
Also, any fun lunch recs near McCormick place? We're going to the auto show one day, and I remember the on-site food options being a bit grim. We'll probably end up at Connie's for pizza unless there are some gems in the South Loop I need to experience.
The Little Goat is owned by The Girl & The Goat - it's more diner-y. The foot was really good. We took DD there and she was not the only child by any stretch of the imagination.
